You are allowed to run only one type or one attribute for monsters?
It would totally screw over fusion decks and cards like Fusioh Richie/Great Dezard, but wouldn't it be a lot more fun than seeing decks with the best cards thrown in?
e.x: pure dark, pure light, pure warriors, pure machines, and so forth?
Just a thought. Don't flame me.
Oh yes, there should be restrictions on warriors of course.

Yeah it would be fun I guess... But I think it would grow kind of stale after a while. Some restrictions on warriors would need to be instated first, otherwise they'd be the #1 deck absolutely.

Nobody would play anything but warrior.
Restrictions aren't the answer, better support for everything else is.

Warrior and Tomato Control will be the CC >_>

Attributes are more limited than Elements... it is a great idea, but it is far from happening until we got a huge bunch of substitutes for di-element themes...

Because we all know how many powerful dark plants there are.

It would fail spectacularly because most themes suck regardless of what restrictions are in place.

So playing pure Attributes, Vampire Orchis and Lord Poison could not be in the same deck.
Playing types, Arcane Archer of the Forest could not be in a Plant deck.
Some cards support monsters of other Types/Attributes. That would be a major problem.

I don't know, to be honest the idea seems really odd to me. :)

So does wanting to bring back BLS and Fiber Jar. >_>

I bolded the word "better" for emphasis. Honestly, I'm grateful when other other types recieve support, but try and make the support decent and playable at least. =\

Warriors will proably be the only type played, but that would rule out most chaotic choices. Then again most cards do support other types and my E-HERO (fun) deck will be completly gone. THAT WOULD SUCK

Not to rain on the parade, but this will inspire more unoriginality.
Cyber Dragon and all its fusions- light attribute
VWXYZ and all fusions- light attribute
Toss in a Magician of Faith, a D.D. Warrior Lady, and possibly a stall like Winged Kuriboh and voila, the Machine fusion deck that doesn't actually need fusion cards, just a Metamorphosis. The only downside to this cookie cutter machine deck is the loss of Cannon Soldier and Cyber Stein.

But who the hell plays those?

lol. So you're afraid of one measly card that can be run in 3's? Cyber Dragons have weakness you know. Lmao, VWXYZ liek so many people play that.
I guess being able to run Mobius, DDA, Cyber Dragon, Reaper/Dons in one deck is a better format.
