depends in which deck you use. If your running Soul Control or a deck with alot of Tributes use Brain Control.

If you're using Soul Control, use both. That's right...both. Otherwise, EC isn't that good. Brain Control is HAWT.

Enemy Controller is more versitle and better than BC unless you use atleast 2 tribs not including Cyber Dragon.

As much as EC is a favorite of mind, Brain control can be better as stated by Shizzle.

Controller since it is more veratile as a topdeck and with snatch steal unless it is in a soul control which brain control takes the kake.
PS: book of moon is better than both of those but i'm guessing you already know that.

Brain Control >>>>>>> Enemy Controller
Enemy Controller is ONLY good when you sac a Sangan to take Control of their monster and tribute that monster for a Monarch.
Or use it on Reaper.
Whatever.

I guess EC is better in a "normal" deck.

Enemy Controller isn't all mighty but it's not only good when sacrificing sangan. Who in the world told you take Bullsh**? Enemy Controller is good offensive and defensive. And Unlike brain control it has no cost of 800 life. Just a measly monster which could be a Sangan, Goats or anything wimpy like that. Plus it can also kill Reaper, Gorilla, and put alot of things to defense for an easier kill.

Both are -1s unless you have a follow-up move to even the advantage (and relying on this is NEVER a good thing). Brain Control is ten times better due to the suckiness of EC's first effect (oh whoopdeedo, a -1), and the inferiority of EC's second effect to brain control (800LP is much better than tributation).

Run creature Swap. You'll be fine.

Are we comparing the effects of Enemy Controller that actually lets you take control of your opponent's monster like Change of Heart used to or the Position change effect? Truely in the Borrorwing of your opponent's monster Brain Control is better in every way. 800 lifepoints as opposed to a tribute? None for me thanks. As an attack negator there is no comparison.
Unless you run Enemy Controller as an attack negator more than a Change of Heart, Brain Control is better.

Brain control>controller
brain control is almost like snatch steal, controler sucks cause itīs almost always disadvantage
The Controller

brain control is a great card if you run a lot of tributes and enemy controller is a game breaking card that can save you from an attack or you can also use it as abrain control effect.
so its either 800 lp or a 1 for 2/blocking an attack.
i personally would use brain because its my playing style, but you might concure.

I was just looking at the Banned/Restricted List. Is it true that there in no restriction on Brain Control at all?

IMO, they are both for two seperate uses. Enemy Controller is more for the Battle Position effect, with the control effect if you want to go the extra mile. Brain Control is strictly for control.

EC=Brain control.
2 brain Control
1 EC
Ec will save me a turn if my hand is s?'t so I get a turn to recover. But that's all I get.

Yes. U can have up to 3 but I'm guessing that it won't be for long. It'll probably be restricted to 2 or lower.

Although they are both very good cards;
Enemy Controller is unquestionably better than brain control.
Its fact, you may not like it, you may not believe it but the world was still round before America was discovered.

Well...
Brain Control and Enemy Controller both are okay if you need to use their monster for something. I perfer the controller... more as soon as we get Dandylion...
However I would perfer Creature Swap + Mind Control as both have their own merits, but together are even better.

Brain controller can clear feild for finisher, trib bait and much MUCH more.
I like brain control 2......but it really depends on the deck....factors such as the # of tributes, etc.....
Ec CAN depend on if ur playing some trample monsters or drillroid etc...

I like Brain Control better and I think it is better....
Brain Control=Ownage over Enemy controller
And mind control-Take over one monster on your opponents side of the fied till the end phse. But you can not tribute or declare battle with that card...

I'm running 2x each..regarding EC...here's the combo I've been pulling off...flip magical merchant, sack it for their prime monster, sack it for the inevitable mobius, its very good, and has the versatility...brain is good to go as well, if you have the scratch and are running the mobius in 2's and 3's 2x each is a good way to go, not the only way, but a good one

I like Brain Control more. Simple LP payment for control of a monster to either tribute it off or attack for the win instead of putting yourself in a position for a possible -1 to -2 with Enemy Controller.

You are comparing cards that really do not work towards the same Purpose.
Sure Both are Spell cards but your not going to be using them in the same situation and comparing them is silly.
Enemy Controller is an Offensive Defensive Card. It combos well and its a quick play.
Brain Control is not a quick play, its main use is taking your opponents monster for a Clear Strike or Tribute Fodder. It is not really a Defensive card yet could be used for some offensive purposes but is limited compared to EC.
But its taking on of your opponents monsters for a clear shot is a short term advantage.
Play test both.
