this shoud be in single card discussion, but fiend M-E-G-A-C-Y-B-E-R, requires 2 monsters, which means you dont get the 'i got second' advantage. and when are there times your oppon has 2+ monsters? kinda rarely.

3) Play a few copies of Cyber Dragon in your deck, then try it again with Fiend Megacyber. You WILL find that you are greatly mistaken.

Because it's FAR more likely to summon the Tin-can Dragon on your first turn if you go second than with Megacyber. Megacyber is decent as a poor mans Cyber Dragon if you dont have the ca$h for it or have no luck with boosters.

Me, I stay far away from ol Cyber Se- I mean Dragon, myself.

I appreciate that he is looking for an alternitive to a card that is in every deck, not everyone has a cyber dragon. I think tfmc would work good in a deck that used ojama trio, one of my personal favorite cards.

fiend is better than cyber because of counter. when you summon your cyber + monster i can then summon fiend = my monster

Fiend Megacyber needs your opponent to have 2 monsters on your opponent's side of the field... on your turn mind you... to summon. Assuming, you have no monsters at all.

It's a Warrior, which isn't bad, but it's too high in level to get all the glorious praises of RotA. Otherwise, it's basically Judge Man with a few less DEF and you didn't need to trib.


Cyber Dragon only needs your opponent to have one mon while you have none. Easier to expect, as they could've just smacked around the Dekoichi you set and you wouldn't have taken any damage (unlike with the likely Fiend Megacyber scenario).

Most importantly though, Cyber Dragon leads to numerical advantege through his effect. Fiend Megacyber will only bring you to even. That's assuming you summon another monster.

Cyber Dragon is superior, despite the 100 ATK difference. It's simply easier to whip out. If Scapegoat was still run in 3s, I'd probably give Fiend Megacyber the benefit of the doubt. But... it's restricted.. so...
