Kinda hard to find a team around my area. I've only seen a couple that even came around and when the recruiting came around, I never really thought about joining a team then. I live in Louisiana and don't get around to traveling too many regionals. I have planned, but never get the opportunity to go to one.

I'm William Phan, 15 years old and I live in Toronto. I've been playing YGO since the first Starter Decks and LOB series first came out. I took a break around when MRL boosters came out and I got back into the game when IOC came out. Perfect time to return to a new broken form of YGO ehhh...

I've only attended one regionals ever, in August 7th, 05 in Toronto. I started out fine, going 3-1 midway, before I slumped and then ended up 4-4 (EWWW...)

Other than that I play local tourneys at Excalibur Comics in Toronto and other locations occasionally against the best players in the city and even country, like The Chin Brothers (Mike, Stephen, Gregory), Canadian National's Champion '05 Dexter Dalit, the runner-up of Nationals '05 Jason Tan, and even Dale Bellido, the Chicago SJC winner and other famous Canadian players. Never been able to win whole matches against those guys but I've tried and I don't give up, as it's always good practice to face people better than you.

Otherwise, I'd have to admit, I'm no elite player, but I do my best in games, show good sportsmanship, good at coaching others & building decks for people, and contribute to fellow players as much as possible when they need assistance. Any teams wanna pick me up, PM me anytime.

well it depends on what you call a team, What many people go around and do is just say haey we are good lets make a team.


its nothing like that

you have to have certain ranks on a team, and be organized correctly. A proper team should have these people in it(a deck builder, a guy that refines the deck, another guy that tests decks, A guy that puts final touches on the deck, a main player guy, a manager of money and such, and of corse groopies are always needed) Everyone on the team needs to have a job, and needs to have ranks so if players of the same team play, one needs to forfit, and then go scout for that member so that the other guys still in the running arent totally stunned about what they are up against. The team needs structure and money flow. Its basically a business to be on a team, and very few yugioh teams if any at all are structured right. Many VS teams like kings games, and your moves games have the right idea. Its all about the win. and dont say that isnt any fun, because its not a proper tem if you arent doing these things. and beleive me if your team wins you will have fun.

Pianka is right. If you're looking to win major events with your team your primary goal is money; if you have your team structured right you can make it big, so to speak. A team like that has fun by winning.

I don't see how hard it is for someone like Donald Kiss and someone like Glenn Lightfoot to get along. Their differences are petty and only skin-deep. well it depends on what you call a team, What many people go around and do is just say haey we are good lets make a team.


its nothing like that

you have to have certain ranks on a team, and be organized correctly. A proper team should have these people in it(a deck builder, a guy that refines the deck, another guy that tests decks, A guy that puts final touches on the deck, a main player guy, a manager of money and such, and of corse groopies are always needed) Everyone on the team needs to have a job, and needs to have ranks so if players of the same team play, one needs to forfit, and then go scout for that member so that the other guys still in the running arent totally stunned about what they are up against. The team needs structure and money flow. Its basically a business to be on a team, and very few yugioh teams if any at all are structured right. Many VS teams like kings games, and your moves games have the right idea. Its all about the win. and dont say that isnt any fun, because its not a proper tem if you arent doing these things. and beleive me if your team wins you will have fun.
