Mobius Question

Hey! Im new here and i have a question

If Mobius is summoned, will his effect activate if your opponent uses a

1. trap hole?
2. bottomless trap hole?
3. torrential tribute?
4. raigeki break?

Yes it will, because it was successfully summoned.

The only cards that can stop Mobius's effect are Solemn Judgment and Horn of Heaven.

Unless they use Solemn Judgement, Horn of heaven or Divine wrath then Mobius makes those spells and traps go boom!

"Skill Drain" will successfully foil Mobius's effect, as well.

Keep in mind that Mobius's effect activates (and you select the two cards you wish to destroy) before your opponent can activate "Bottomless Trap Hole" and the like.

So, for example:

Your opponent has 3 Set Spell/Trap Cards, one of which is "Bottomless Trap Hole".

You Tribute Summon "Mobius the Frost Monarch", which results in its effect activating. You then select 2 of your opponent's Set Spell/Trap Cards.

Your opponent can then activate their face-down "Bottomless Trap Hole", regardless of whether it was selected by Mobius's effect.

Now, here's what the chain's resolution looks like:

Chain Link 2 Resolution: "Bottomless Trap Hole" destroys and removes from play "Mobius the Frost Monarch".

Chain Link 1 Resolution: "Mobius the Frost Monarch"'s effect destroys the two Spell/Trap Cards that were selected earlier (note that if one of the selected cards was BTH, you do not get to select a new target).
