I Loved it! Mostly because team aqua and magma showed up. Hopefully this means they'll be making more and more apearances and TR's appearances will become less and less.

It was really funny seeing May all serious! :D

Secret bases...I'm seeing alot of similarities between the game and this series than ever before...

Over all I think I'd give the ep a 8/10. The battles weren't too good and the kid was kinda lame...

It was a fairly good up. Nincada was cool. Team Aqua and Magma wont make more appearences then Team Rocket. TR will be in every single episode and Ta/TM will only appear a few times just like in the game. Im sure when they get closer to Lily Cove City cause thats where their bases are in the game and Sootopolis City cause that is where the Cave of Origin is. The Secret Base was cool. I have a Skitty tv in my game and i used to have a pokeball chair like that kid. I would have liked to see more of Team Aqua's pokemon but we'll have to wait till Meteor Falls. Jessie is getting annoying thinking her Cascoon is a Silcoon. Cascoon only says coon when it says its name. All in all it was an ok episode. Next week will be a good one.

Well, all I can say is that this episode was different and thankfully they didn't show Team Rocket that much, I can't stand them!!! Above all, I think this episode was a "meh".

I don't pay much attention to the voice actor particularly? Who is this Rachail Lillis and who'd she play? Who has she played in the past?

Rachael Lillis is the voice actor for Misty and Jessie, and in this episode she played a little boy who sounded a lot like Misty, so you could obviously tell it was her.

I've gotten word that the Rose and Indigo Orbs are actually the real orbs from the R/S games. They're the same thing as the Red and Blue Orbs. I thought they were fakes or two different things or something. I have no idea why they changed them but Murg' said they must be because what they called them in Japanese is the same thing they call them in the Japanese games.

Sorry to reply to an old topic, but YTV in Canada is only showing these episodes just now (weekdays, ie. 5 times a week, so we're catching up).

It think the episode wasn't as bad as it could've been. Mostly because of Team Magma and Team Aqua, an aspect of this season that we haven't seen that much of. The mystery is building as Ash & company are wondering what the two teams are up to.

Jessie is getting annoying thinking her Cascoon is a Silcoon. Cascoon only says coon when it says its name.

It does actually say "cascoon" once. When Jessie is ooo-ing over it in the Secret Base, Cascoon says "coon" then almost right after, "cascoon" can be heard (easier if you've taped it and can rewind like I did) just as James and Meowth sigh over Jessie's confusion.

I'm reading over the synopsis on serebii.net and in Japanese, Kazuki/Keanu has Nincada use Secret Power to send off Team Rocket, while in English the command was to use "hidden power attack". I don't know why they didn't preserve Secret Power in the translation. Would've made more sense since the boy goes on to explain that he had Nincada use this move to create the secret base.

Thats dubbers for you... Can they ever do anything right?? When he said he used that move to make his base i was like its Secret Power not Hidden Power you idiots. The move even looks way different from a Hidden Power attack. Hidden Power attacks with these orb things and Secret Power is a large blast.
