I was looking through my binder and saw a card that might be useful in a dedicated GK deck with necrovalley. The card in question is Acid Trap Hole, one of the first ever video game promos. The game it came with came out on the GB color. Wouldn't this card be amazing in a GK deck?
It blows away pretty much any face-down card your opponent sets, especially nasty battle searchers or newdoria, or even tsuki'd/BoM'd monsters. However that isn't the effect that I am talking about.
Imagine this:
You have a f/d GK Spy and Acid Trap hole with necrvalley out. It is their turn. You activate acid trap hole on Gk spy. It flips up and you call GK assailent. IT IS THEN FLIPPED BACK FACE-DOWN BECAUSE GK SPY HAS 2500 DEFENSE. This means you can get another gk monsters on your next turn if they don't ATK.
You lose: ATH (-1)
They lose: Nothing (0)
You gain: Monster, and another monster. Thinning deck by 2 and SS 2 monsters. (draw 2 (basically increasing hand + field count by 2) and SS 2 gk monsters, lets say + 2)
They gain: Nothing (0)
It is basically +1 every time. On your next turn. You can have 4 monsters on the field.
Opening Hand:
GK Spy
ATH
Terra/necrovalley
Monster removal (smash/fissure)
Spell removal (dust/mst/)
That could be 1700 + 2000 + 2000 + 1 monster which is easily 5700+
If you somehow forgot to take out a GAF from your old deck and draw it thats game.
+ GAF: game
+ IFL: game
+ Witch's Apprentice (boosts all dark by 500) has 550 ATK (2200 + 2500 + 2500 + 1050) game
+ the Silva you discarded with DW lightning game
+ the goldd you discarded with DW lightning game
+ Brain Control (if face-up) + your normal summon game
+ Snatch steal + normal summon game
+ magicians circle (they call either breaker usually) this will net you a 1800 damage addition with IFL + your normal summon for the turn
+ You draw BoM + another 2000 GK + normal summon
+ You draw Tsuk + another 2000 Gk + 1100 damage
It take 3 unrestricted cards + m + s/t removal to dish out massive damage.
