I find Silent Swordsman LV5 very handed in a deck with other warriors or his own deck so I rate him 9.6/10

depends on the deck if you run warriors than yes if you are just splashing into a deck horus 6 is better

I side him in for heavy spell users, awesome card.

the only drawback is 2300 attack which gets beat up by the other tributes, otherwise a very good card, very good against decks which use MOP and LLAB, with dark hole back in the picture, a must for warrior/chaos warrior decks

It's EXTREMELY vulnerable to Tsukuyomi, if you were to play Silent swordsman, make sure you have ways to deal withh Tsuku

I've played this and it comes in handy. Specially with all the topdecking and ur opp gets "lucky" with a snatch, dark hole.

Silent Swordsman LV 5 + Fusion Sword Murasume Blade = 3100 ATK monster that is immune to your opponents spells.

You play this card in a Warrior Deck.

You play this card in any other Deck because it is that good... :cool:

Forget about SS L3 or SS L7. They got nothing on this guy.

I splashed him into my cc in exchange for a cyber dragon so now its 2 mobius 2 cyber and 1 ss lv5 and it works.

Let us compare.

Silent Swordsman Lv5:
-Is a Light, so it makes good Chaos food (if you still run Chaos anyway....)
-Is only immune to the opponent's spells. Not so bad, but leaves nothing to the imagination of combos and abuse.
-Low DEF, owned by Tsukiyomi or the rarely seen Ready for Intercepting
-Is a Warrior, so is open to vast amounts of support
-Is Lv5, so a lot of that Warrior support is cut (RotA works on 4 or under, and that is the best piece of Warrior support there is).

Horus Lv6:
-Is Fire, so there isn't much that can be used with it (Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai is uber fun though.)
-DEF is higher, not as easily pwned by Tsuki (not pwned by Ready for Intercepting)
-Is unaffected by any Spell. Easy to abuse with Dark Hole and LLAB/MoP
-Is Dragon, has limited support.
-Horus clan is easier to abuse than Silent Swordsmen.

Horus is less vulnerable, but more importantly, easier to abuse with your own cards (specifically Dark Hole). For tech purposes, Horus is simply better.
