yes it was edited, and I doubt they will ever show the unedited again, since theyre a bunch of idiots, plus its on toonami and theyre not alowd. Im just worried how the new episodes (that are extremely violent) are gonna turn out...

Animatrix WAS editted. You just wouldn't notice it at first. There were several scenes that were extremely bloody in the Second Renaisance.

first yyh won't be unedited because as someone already said its on toonami notadult swim and second the animatrix was edited. it was a good episode though i liked it.

I know how the bloody parts will look like in the new chapters, it will be like Rurouni Kenshin when Saitou killed the blind guy, there was supposed to be a sword on his chest but after they edited it it was just a guy floating on a wall, lol, maybe they wanted to make it like Saitou used super glue to get the other guy on the wall and the Sodiac Knights, lol, their blood is green maybe they are aliens. I dont understand why in U.S. everything is edited, thanks god here in Puerto Rico the shows go unedited in the local channels. Rurouni kenshin makes a lot more scence unedited because its better for understanding some parts of the story and the jokes. I think its the same for all the other animes.

I seriously hate the way they edit things sometimes. Half the time you have almost no idea what the hell happened or why someone is so injured. Usually you'll just see a weird flash of light, followed by an obviously missing scenewhere they should've shown the violent action taking place. Besides that, dont you just hate it when someone gets a big cut or limb sliced off, yet there is no blood whatsoever to show injury? Grr sometimes this show makes me very angry. Remeber when Hiei Killed Makintaro, I was like "...whah?..??" and whenever He cut off Makintaros arm, there was absolutely no blood whatsoever... it just looked dumb.

^yeah, sometimes edits really confuse the hell out of me as well... but apparently it is deemed a necessary evil.

yep - for instance, when Togoro delivered the finishing blow to Genkai, it didn't show any blood whatsoever (pretty sure) on CN but I have the picture of what she really looked like when she was just lying there and it was gross.

Anyways, I wish YY was unedited on the Saturday night lineup but it definitely isn't... I watched the eps last night and since I have it on uncut DVD, I can say with most assurity that some of the dialogue was altered from the uncut dub version. (lack of cuss-words)
And there was a scene with Kuwabara scratching himself that was cut out, but picture-wise I think that might be all that was edited.
I didn't particulary mind that though, but *guess I oughta put SPOILERS*

Kurama becomes soo freaking bloody near the end of the fight with Karasu so I'm anxious to see how it'll be edited... just two more weeks.
I must say that I think K/K is a great fight though, very entertaining... you don't wanna miss it.

its not funimations faults they edit what they do blame the censors. they have guide lines they have to meet. also yes they are gonna show the ep and there will be blood. edits are nessacary for shows CN is a basic cable/satelite channel now if youwanna see anime uncut watch the action chanel its totally uncut and it can be graphic.

As for editting, how did CN handle Karasu's tormenting Kurama, especially with his verbal sadism? I never saw the dubbed episode, but things like that usually make censors squirm.

Cartoon Network hasn't showed the fight between Kurama and Karasu yet. So we don't have any knowledge of how it will be edited. By the looks of what people say bout the Original version its no doubt going to be butchered.
