This is a concept I never fully understood. It said in the rulebook that we're allowed a 15 card side deck that we can switch cards with our deck at any time during the duel as long as the number of cards in the deck/side deck remain the same.

My questions are :

A.) Can we replace the top card of our deck with another from our side deck?
B.) Do we get to choose where the card from the side deck goes to the main deck?
C.) Can we switch a magic with a trap in our deck? or a monster for a magic? or a trap for a monster? you get the idea

thanks in advance for your help in case I don't get back to replying

Each mach consits of 3 duels. INBETWEEN these duels you may swich any card from your maindeck with any card from your sidedeck. Durring a duel, you may not daw a card from your sidedeck instead of your maindeck. When switching deck/sidedeck cards, the number of cards in your deck and sidedeck must be the same as they were before you switched anything around.

Your side deck is there so that you can swap cards in and out to modify your strategy better. Of course you can only do this after a duel.

For example: You're playing a beatdown deck with 3 Sakuretsu Armor.
Your opponent plays a burn deck. Burn decks uses a lot of trap cards. After your first duel, side out the Sakuretsu Armors and side in Royal Decree instead. You won't need the Sakuretsu Armor because burn don't generally attack.

Like what mighty mouse said: Your deck has to have the same amount of cards in it before & after siding.
