Hey guys I was just wondering. Since pot of avarice is becoming so popular now would it be a good idea now to main deck a Kycoo or at least side deck it, and also it can help against the popular rftdd decks to. Just a thought! !

Only worth side-decking at this time, since it stops RFTDD decks and any other RFP decks. Also decent tech, especially against DDAs.

How is it tech against DDA? Doesn't stop it's effect...

It stops the semi-chaos thing that seems to be gaining momentum as of lately.

not a bad idea to use, but sidedeck it its the most effective in there imo

It stops many things:
1. Chaos Sorceror
2. Yellow Spring Frog(when SOI comes out)
3. RFG Decks
4. POA Decks
5. E-Hero(if u think about it >_>)
6. And um....well thats all i can think of.

its just weird that even though players know about the PoA decks and rftdd decks, players are not main decking kycoo or at the least side decking it.

I side it against Bazoo Decks or if I have trouble with Chaos Sorcerers..

I see it being played against Chaos Sorcerer decks, but other than that... not much, it's weird, Bazoo went up in uses and Kycoo went down in uses :p

Kycoo's use should go up in uses becasue pot of avarice is being played in almost all decks now. lol its a good feeling when after you remove monsters from your opponents graveyard then he top decks a usless pot of avarice.

Most people aren't running Pot of A... it's just not worth it unless you play it in a big deck or in an Exodia Deck. It's Trade bait basically.

It's an overhyped card (PoA)... and most people don't Main deck Kycoo anymore (your one of the few and proud ;) )..., plus the decks that do run PoA only run 1. It's not enough of a threat to actually side deck Kycoo Against. I do agree Kycoo is a decent card, but there are often better options, like Negation or S/T Removal/Monster Removal (not graveyard Removal like Kycoo)

I see more than before now but most are in the side deck and in only one copy still a good side deck card. :)

He has a good affect just he dies to like almost everything being played sure you can protect him for awhile, but evetually they will just find away around them. Besides Pot of Avarice is good in a deck that has either self replacing monsters or a deck that exonerates its resources quickly. Overall not a bad tech, but try Blade Knight against a deck like the overdose one it really does wonders against it.

With poa being used like it is it can stop da deck in it stracks. and used against a bazoo/rftdd deck da best thing it's doing is stopin bazoo from removing. so yeah it can get a side deck spot.

i have been to regionals to judge when EEN was out and i did not even see one pot of avarice being used. why you ask, because it is NOT a good card at all. I still run 1 kycoo in my main deck still because it is a good card to have depending on what ur opponent is using.

If Pot of Avarice or Chaos Sorcerer are seen in your metagame in multiples, Kycoo is a valid tech otherwise, it is merely a vanilla beatstick.
As the ban list have gone on its been getting worse imo.

It helps against decks that revolve around Bazoo and RFtDD. Just don't remove when you do damage.

I wanna get something straight. KYCOO IS AWESOME. In ANY deck that uses attacking to win, KYCOO should be there. He is the Anti-Chaos/Bazoo/god knows what else. He is 4-star, 1800 ATK. Best 4-star monster ever. End of story. People ask me why I use him in my Gravekeeper's deck, it's cuz I may not have the Valley on the field, and beside that, well, everything I just ranted about. People should be maindecking 1 or 2 Kycoos. Or in spellcasters it'd be 2 or 3. I've always used Kycoo except in burn and exodia or anything that stalls. I'm done ranting about this for now.

I have seen it comeback latley.....but it has never one a duel for anyone that I have ever seen. With all of the monster destruction now, he could not do much damage anyway.

It is never gonna make a comeback only in YGO video games but not in real life. It was good but it faded away like all the old cards execpt pot of greed. I haven't seen anyone play it in 2 years or so can't really remember...

its a great card i'm going to start teching 1 or 2 in pure theme dark decks. other then stopping cs PoA and bazoo it simply ***** the graveyard making premature and call useless.
