1. example: suppose raging flame sprite attack power is now 4100 due to the effect of increasing its attack power by 1000 every time it succeeds a direct attack to the opponents life points. If RFS is destroyed by an opponent's card effect then suddenly is reborned by using premature burial, does it still maintain 4100 atk or does it go back to 100 atk?

2. if a monster is special summoned onto the field by an effect can you choose any position you want?

1) It's ATK is 100. Any time a Monster leaves the field and then returns, or is flipped face-down and then flipped face-up again, it's stats are reset (and most effects are reset too, even ones that say "once per turn").

2) Yes, as long as the card doesn't specify which battle position the Monster has to be in.

Note, however, that is must be face-up unless the card says otherwise.
