How does tsukuyomi flip a monster whenn it is killed f/d in battle??

Ex: Cyber dragon attacks f/d tsuku, cyber flips f/d. tsuku dies.

And does his wor wih the flip monsters like sphinx and lacooda??

Ex: Cyber dragon attacks f/d lacooda, player draws. lacooda dies.

Any time Tsukuyomi is flipped face up or summoned in a face up position, its effect activates.

EDIT: The monsters which say that they must be flipped summoned for their effects to activate, have to be flip summoned for their effects to activate.

Tsukuyomi is flipped, its effect activates, regardless of why it was flipped.

Des Lacooda does NOT get its effect if flipped by an attack. Des Lacooda ONLY gets its effect when Flip Summoned.

cards like 'Tsukuyomi' and 'Nightmare Penguin' have a slight different text from cards like 'Guardian Sphinx' and 'Des Lacooda':

Spirit Monster (Spellcaster / DARK / 4 Stars / ATK 1100 / DEF 1400)

This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that it is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, select 1 face-up monster on the field and flip it into face-down Defense Position.

Guardian Sphinx
Effect Monster (Rock / EARTH / 5 Stars / ATK 1700 / DEF 2400)

You can flip this card into face-down Defense Position once per turn during your Main Phase. When this card is Flip Summoned, return all monsters on your opponent's side of the field to the owner's hand.

see the difference?
that's why 'Tsukuyomi' gets it's effect when attacked, but 'Guardian Sphinx' and 'Des Lacooda' don't.

Its stats compared to dekoichi are horrible.

I know it's abuseable if you get the right cards but imo it sux

Just stall with i out, or bring it out with Rat or Pyramid and use it once. It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Dekoichi if used correctly.

Well, you are right that in a CC deck dekoichi is better but in a stall/burn or earth zombie deck lacoda pwn all :D
