View Full Version : The Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Manga thread

Well for all those who do not know we are soon to be getting a GX manga. It will be coming to V-Jump magazine, I guess being placed in along with R, or maybe replacing it? Who knows, but so far we know like R it will be supervised by Takahashi sama and will be drawn by Kageyama Naoyuki.

I'm not sure if its going to be a one shot comic or a full series, because well information is in its early stages.

I for one want to see just how GX makes the transition from anime to manga.

I'd hope for this trhead to become "official" once more info. is released.

Looks promising. I looked and one of the drawings and it looked like some kind of dinosaur monster was being played. Cant wait for it to be released.

The first episode is up for read on Janimes GX site!

I was quite impressed with the manga, it goes back before the Seven Stars arc when Chronos and Manjyome were out to get Juudai!

I loved the early parts of the series, I;m guessing this takes place around the first 5-6 episodes of the anime.

Very good...very good indeed!

Yes that is Janime's GX site, I just don't like direct linking to them because it causes such things as stealing without source, and with many links in time, bandwith problems.

I just read the manga, then happened to come across this thread. It was a pretty good read. I wonder if these new E-Heros will end up in the anime as well.

Nah, not Black Tyranno. Looks a hell of a lot like him, and has a similar effect, (Maybe even the same. XD) but the card on Janime is listed as 'Cyber Dinosaur' and has 2500 ATK, and not 2600 like Black Tyranno does.

In my opinion, the manga > the anime even at this early stage. The evil Dinosaur using teacher, who's name I don't recall, was frikking awesome.
