How stupid are Ash and Co.? (In intellgence)

Why do they always fall for TR disguises?
I mean their hair styles look the same in almost all there disguises, how can they not tell its TR. Their just begging to fall into their obvious traps.

Why the heck does Ash always release all his pokemon.
Released Pokemon:
Butterfree - Mating season
Wild Hauter - Gave to Sabrina
Primeape - Just gave away to some guy(WTF, why would he give away his prize winning Primeape to someone).
Pigeot - Left it to protect the flock of Pigey and Pigeotto.
Lapras - United it back with its family.
Charizard - Left it at the Charisific Valley to train.
Squirtle - Went back with the Squirtle Squad.

I Know he gave up most of these for a Good reason, but him giving up Primeape just pisses me off.

They are not stupid but they are kind for thinking of their pokemon's needs. Can't explain about the disgues though.:)

Personally, I don't mind him giving away the Primeape. But that's mostly because I didn't like it, and my mom, dad, and brother started calling me Mankey. For no reason.

The disguise thing is just so we (the viewers) recognize Team Rocket. Believe me or not, my younger brother once didn't recognize them!

As for Ash releasing his pokemon, i guess it's so he doesn't exceed the limit when he captures new ones. I'm not saying he should release ALL the old ones he has, but that way, it's more meaningful when (IF) they return.

It's probably so the viewers can tell it's them, but I guess they could do a better job with the disguises. They definitely get points for creativity.

They only fooled me once. In that Todd episode when they were dressed up as an old couple. For about thirty seconds. When I was nine.


The really dumb part is, they can tell it's them when they're barely dressed up at all. They'll be wearing little tiny glasses but they don't wear any wigs (you'd think you could notice Jesse's hair from a mile away) and they don't make weird voices; they speak normally. Yet they are still fooled. wft

I know Its been a while since I started this, but I just remembered that Ash also had a Beedrill and gave it to Casey.(Yet another Pokemon he just stupidly gave away)
