Can you chain a LV monsters LV up effect?
For example:
Player A has 2 sheep tokens and Silent Swordsman LV3
Player A sends LV3 during his stand by phase.
Can Player B activate Ojama Trio in chain to fill up Player A's field so LV5 can't come out.

I would say yes, but I'm not 100% sure.

I'm not sure you can, because you can't chain to the resolution of an effect. I'm also not 100% sure. What I do know is that Banisher Of The Light prevents monsters from Lving up in that fashion, so there's an idea for you.

yes, you can chain to the effect.
all "Level Ups" are Speed 1 Trigger Effects, your scenario is legal.

Like corpse said its legal, because your not chaning to the resoultion your chaning to the activation.

Just to clarify, the reason that you can do that is because for all level up monsters, the "send this card to the discard pile" part is a cost and not part of the resolution of the effect, right?

That is the cost, and the part of the resoultion is when the monster actually comes out to the field. Someone correct me if im wrong, because I dont know how to explain it right.
