All DB players gather!

I just built my first DB deck yesterday... (Blue trunks). It was kinda funny the reason I was goin to build one... I got a Starter with trunks 1-3, Trunks level 4, and dragon radar as holo. It was pretty cool actually. So anyone have a tip for a new DB player? This is the first DB deck Ive built... (Mainly because this is the first time Ive had all the DB's...) Right now Im usin trunks level 2 hi-tech with Trunks Horizontal Manuever backer.

first off since you most likely dont have many cards, just use the starter for now and use the normal trunks lvl 2 its a ton better, read all the rules of course if you dont know them, then read them again and buy cards and make ur deck better and so forth you could always go to the trading forums, good place to get cards you need, hope that helped

Um, im still a bit of a newb myself, but here goes.

Read the rules well.
The trading forum here is great for getting cards for a deck
if you are going to by packs, look for the anime card box at toys r' us, its like 10 bucks for 11 packs or somthing ridiculous. Or the collector tin for 20 bucks you get 6 packs and and like 12 promos.

And most importantly, Have fun.

You said that you have no mastery. And since you need a mastery to declare tokui-waza, and a tokui-waza to use a mastery, you can't use that deck. I would get the other Blue mastery that isn't Blue Destruction Drill. That's the first thing you should do.

you dont need a mastery to play, and im pretty sure you can declare a tokui waza without using a mastery (dont know why you wouldnt) but you do hjave to declare a tokui waza to use a mastery and yes blue is the best with dragonballs usually, try maybe buu saga or summoning mastery, although i dont remember what it does

Lol, Exodia, Im not really a newb to GT, just to DB decks. Right now I use either my Orange aura baby ally deck or my Baby Vegeta saiyan supreme deck. (I REALLY hope it didnt sound like I was bragging, cuz I WASNT!)

so what do you mean DB, if you mean the DBZ game that and gt arent much different, so i dont see how you are a newb then?
