Hey ive Got 1 noob question

WHAT THE HELL ARE POINTS IN THE TRADING SYSTEM?

Some guy asked me if i had points for trade

the opoints in the trading system is how they can tell you if you are a rip off artist or not and none is if you dont trade or your afriad to trade

then y did the person ask me if i had points i wanted to trade? Is there like some kind of link i could get to read up on the Point system and trading points?

Every penney that a card sells for on ebay is one point, so a one dollar card is worth 100 points, you will need ten ten cent cards to trade for that card. I'm pretty sure that is how it works. The whole thing is fully explained in Emod's trade thread so look there to get all of the details.

each rarity is worth a certain number of points. you give crappy cards (crappy as in usuability, they still need to be mint) in exchange for the cards you want.

a common is one point
3 rares are 25 points
3 super rares are 100 points
3 ultras/secrets are 200 points
3 starter holos are 50 points
3 ultimates are 125 points.

you would give up the unusable commons, supers, ultras, etc that you don't want. the value of the card you are trading for (as explained by fusion duelist) is 1 point for every penny the card goes for on ebay. find the lowest buy it now price, add shipping, and that's the cost. so $20.00 is 2000 points.

so what, people give sumone thier cards for points, then can give thier points for cards? Like online currancy?

No, each card is worth a certain number of points, and you trade your bad (still mint) commons for a holo. What people that recieve the bulk cards do with them I don't know, probably sell them.
