The Traditional and Advance have their differences. Unlike Traditional I think there should more allowances since certain cards no longer pretain to this format.

I'm mostly talking about Dark Magician of Chaos. Since Monster Reborn is gone in advance format. Also with the Magician deck coming out next year I believe that Dark Magician of Chaos should be Semi or unrestricted.

So far I see no abuse it could impose on the entire format.

Reasoning requires mostly luck and good guessing but I still don't see the OTK. Now of course DMOC is the more expensive Magician of Fate. So you can't splash him into any deck. Also his obtain a Magic Card from the graveyard is weaker than Magician of Fate because of timing issues.

Upstart Goblin should be completely unrestricted. It fits only into an extremely small number of decks, and while those decks would benefit from having a third Upstart Goblin, it wouldn't really make that big a change in how effective those decks would be. Bad Reaction to Simochi? So it's a 1000-burn card that replaces itself. Big deal. Alternate win condition? Yes, their speed would be a little better -- but not a lot. The point is, we have far more abusable draw engines that aren't restricted at all -- Des Lacooda, for example.

It's broken in a water deck if you have Salvage. You just have to use it right. ;)

The rules only apply to the official tournament. You can work out your own set of rules.

Metamorphosis might be moved up to two for Neo-bubbleman.

Tournaments can be either Advanced (where those cards are banned), or Traditional (where anything banned in Advanced is limited to one instead -- there's also a small number of other differences in the F/L list). You can do casual duels in either format, or (since it's casual), you can do "custom" F/L lists. Most tournaments and all high-level events are done in Advanced, though.

If combo together two RG would cost four cards. Two trap and two draw phases. It's an even.
