Different Pokeballs?

Ok, the title may be a bit misleading, but I'd like to know what your weapon of choice is when it comes to catching Pokemon. I personally don't try and catch anything except with a regular plain old Pokeball, I like simplicity and Red and White just look stylish.

I usually just use Ultra Balls, due to high catch rate, and the fact that it looks cool.

I use whatever ball fits the situation. Like, if it's a Water, I use a Net Ball. If it's weaker, I use Nest Ball. But That's in the GCN games only. If it's on Handheld game, I use Ultra or Master Ball.

In the beginning of the game I buy some poke balls and catch 3 or 4 Zigs. I play the whole game with the Zigs in my party. They pick up an amazing amount of stuff, including both Great balls and Ultra balls. I use the poke balls for all pokemon except the legendaries. I save the Master Ball in case I get lucky and encounter a shiny.

I spend as little money as I can (most splurging I ever do is for my secret base), so I only buy poke-balls really. Occationally I'll have a few other balls but never use them(same with TMs or other items). Then again, I usually capture the team I want to use in the game early on so poke-balls usually work well enough on them.

I use the best (highest catch rate) Pokeball available. When first starting, of course you can only buy Pokeballs. Later, as Great Balls, etc. become available at the Poke Marts, I sell the lesser balls and buy the better balls, until, of course, Ultra Balls are available. They then become the ball of choice.

Timer Balls aren't worth it, in my opinion. It takes 40 turns (!) until they're as good as an Ultra Ball, and never get better. Why wait that long? I just use the Ultra to begin with.

Actually, a Timer Ball is better than an Ultra Ball after 40 turns. It's equal after about 30 turns.

I have a GS/AR and use Master Balls. I know I'm cheap, but that's just how I roll. Although I do breed my team to erase the fact that they're caught with Masterballs, and also to get certain moves, like Hydro Pump onto my Elemence and Hypnosis onto my Milotic. I cheat to a degree, but I don't hack myself invincible. All things in moderation. ^_^

Well, I think that the Premier Ball
looks the coolest. However, since it is just like a Poke' Ball, I usually use Ultra Balls. I have about 400 of them with me every time I train. (I know, but after the 198 Full Restores, and 99 Revives, I HAD to spend my money on something!)

I return time and again to Lilycove City for consecutive poke'contests and then stock up on my favored luxury (can't believe how long it took me to decide how to spell that and I'm still convinced it's wrong) balls. Of course that's on Sapphire. On Leafgreen I spend my day slaving away for that spoiled rich girl to get luxury balls.

But that's just my opinion. Don't worry about it.
