Sorry if this thread has been done before, I found nothing with the search button, and I don't want a cheat code for it.

Ok, anyway, Chimecho is the one pokemon I can't find no matter what I try. I know you're supposed to catch it at MT. Pyre, but how, I'm only finding shuppets. Am I just unlucky, or are you supposed to do something or go somewhere else?

It is only at the summit of the mountain, and is considered rare. You may luck out and find one quickly, but it took me like twenty minutes before I encountered one. So go to the top and just keep trying.

There is a 2% chance of finding it. Make sure you are on the top of the mountain, too, where the Orbs are.

this thing is too hard to find, i mean its not even legendary or powerful. good luck

Yes, go to the top of the outside of Mt. Pyre. I go to the right of the area where the orbs were (are). Basically, it's the upper right hand corner (there are a couple of "tombstones" there).. It usually takes me about 15-20 min to find a Chimecho there.

I knew about the rare candy, and yeah, by that time anyone should have an itemfinder, or there's something seriously wrong with the cartridge, or the alternative is you cheated.

Oh man, 2%, that sucks. :(

I thought it was 1%. Meh, shows how much I know...

But yeah, finding Chimecho takes patience. He can also be found in the other patch of grass to the left of the orbs. Neither patch is more popluated with Chimecho than the other. It's the same chance in both patches.
