I am only saying this once so my friends lockdown burn deck can work better for him. He argues that he can't get priority with swarm of scarabs/Locusts and any of the other self flipping monsters,but I argue you can. Whos right!
I just need to prove this to him so he can finally get the deck to work alot better for him so anything you have to say about it both he and I would greatly appreciate it.

Let's see.

When you flip summon a Swarm/Lacooda monster, for example, its destruction/draw effect immediately activates. That effect isn't negated by the destruction of the Swarm/Lacooda monster. You cannot use priority to flip it face down.

What you wanted?

there is no priority... once Des Lacooda is flipped, its effect activates and goes to the chain. there is no way for you to flip it back face-down while a chain is in progress.

I meant for its effect of Drawing or Destroying not to flip it down.

Priority only applies to monsters with ignition effects... In this case, Swarm of Locusts/Scarbus have trigger effects... They will still get their effects as part of Chain Link 1 unless the effects or their flip summoning was negated...
