Going in to the city Championships, a player muse be familar with his deck, and familiar with some of the decks he going to be playing against. In the city Championships three of the most common decks are going to be:
1) Garde Ex/Garde
2) Blaziken/Rayquaza/Delcatty
3) Ampharos/Rayquaza
These are going to be the most common, and IMO the strongest. In the city Championships consistency is going to be key. All of these decks are very consistent, and can stand up to almost anything thats made especially to beat them. If your deck is not consistent and isnt usually setup around the same time every game you should rethink it or add cards that make it faster.

2 Gardevior ex
3 Wynaut
3 Wobbuffett
The main strategy of Garde Ex, is to pump up Garde Ex with regular garde, then use garde Ex to run through things. It is fast, and very few decks can beat it once its up and going. Wynaut is to help setup, and Wobbuffett is for Mirror, any other Ex pokemon, and other Wobbuffett.

4 Blaziken
2 Rayquaza
2 Wobbuffett
3 Skitty
3 Delcatty
Blaziken is probably the fastest arch type out there. The first time I heard of it was when Bondi Borg, posted it in the old forum. SInce then it has becomve very popular and widely played. Its probably the fastest arch type out there right now. You battle normally with blaziken then when you see you opponents big hitter, you bring out Rayquaza, and take it out. Rayquaza is easily pumped up over and over by Blazikens Pokemon power. Its very reliable eventhough it seems like its not.

3 Ampharos Ex
1 Ampharos
2 Rayquaza
2 Wobbuffett
Ampharos is played many different ways. The strongest one that I'd seen used SS Arcanine and Rayquaza for backup. Its main focus is its awesome Pokemon Power. 1 Damage counter every time you attach an energy to your Pokemon. It could cause a lot of problems for a lot of decks. It will probably dismantle any rouge deck.
All 3 of these decks have two common principles that can be turned into a weakness. All of these decks are reliant on Pokemon Powers, and Ex Pokemon. This deck will fair very well against these decks and probably do good against rouge decks.

The Pokemon are kina wierd. I never playtested this deck, I just thought of it a few hours ago. Slaking is a powerful pokemon, and Critical moce is a strong attack. Focus on getting Slaking out as fast as possible, with Delcatty, PETM, and RARE CANDY. You could possibly dorp the Delcatty down 2/2 and run 3 of either Mewtwo Ex of Scyther Ex.You may not even need Delcatty if your confident about the speed of your deck. Scyther Ex, Mewtwo EX, and Wobbuffett are all great counters for Garde Ex. Especially since Garde Ex is weak to Psy and grass. Since your using grass and Psychic energy kecleon would be a nice addition to the deck b/c it could OHKO Garde Ex. If i ran this deck I would go 3 Wobb, 3 Scyth, 1 Kecleon, 4/4 Delcatty w/ the 1 uncommon one.
The energy are okay, you could probably run boost? Warp is another idea?
The trainers could probably use the most work. Since I've never playtested the deck I dont know exactly how they work. I just used a nice Draw enginge, some switch, and ER2. ER2 is to get rid of those Multi on rayquaza. It may not always work, but its worth a try. Low Pressure System is just an idea my brother had, and it looked pretty good.
This idea was his, as well as mine. I think he is actually going to be taking a version of this deck to the City Championships. His is alor more powerful than this one. Since Slaking is colorless I think hes running a water Pokemon, or he just might be running something like this, he hasnt decided. Its very consistent, and it did very well in playtesting. If you playtest this deck, and put in the right supporting Pokemon, it could be a big threat in the CC. (But it still won't be as good as my Delcatty/Mewtwo Ex deck ;) )
Could you guys tell me what you think about the deck. I'd really like to know. Sorry this article is so long, but i geuss u needed a background for why the deck was built.
