Are there any move you don't like to use? I don't like Attract. I think it's foolish how Nintendo decided to bring emotions into the game.

Obviosely splash is number 1 but another would be block. Usually, people would not really switch and all unless they have a type dissadvantage. Even so, it justs wastes a turn! It is the same with mean look. They doo the same thing. And spider web. Another one is roar. Switching with that is random and you may be on the losing end. Flail is not all bad but it is still not up to par. For it to do serious damage, you need to be hit several times...

moves that are annoying is substitute and protect because its more of stalling for time and it wont get you anywhere in the game really :(

Actually, trapping moves are very good. Umbreon is the best example of a trapper, because he can survive two hits, enough to trap and then pass to a counter. And then, your opponent WILL have a disadvantage, and cannot switch out of it. Ariados can also do this, but it can't survive two hits, unfortunately.
If you can MeanPass to a Perish Song user, such as Celebi or Gengar, then Protect suddenly becomes very useful, especially on Gar, who doesn't get Recover.
Phazing moves (Roar, Whirlwind) are also very useful, as they blow away Substitute and get rid of stat changes. When used on someone who can take hits, it can also shuffle up the opponents team, possibly putting him into a bad situation, but also identifying his team in the early stages of the game.
These moves are nothing to scoff at.

I agree. Those moves are very professional and highly strategic.
Moves I don't like are Attract, Hidden Power (ingame), and charge-up moves like Solarbeam and Sky Attack.
EDIT: w00t! 1,000 posts!

Thanks! But you could've PMed me with that instead of posting it in a thread...
I can handle Hidden Power when I can goldfish for its type and power, like in NetBattle. But ingame I refuse to bother with it since it's so hard to get it right.
I also don't like Attract, Double Team, Flash, and Supersonic.

Confusing moves, Attract, and paralysis really annoying to me. Plus being badly poisoned then the opponent uses protect or detect
klducks

Double Team. Noob move and should never be used. Nuff said.
