What's Yusuke like as a demon?

A few ?s here -

How does he become a demon in the first place?

Does he ever lose sense of his distinction between right and wrong, or something like that? (in other words, what happens to his personality)

When he tranforms (however many times he may do so), is he referred to as 'Toushin'?

I'm just curious about his transformation(s) since I've heard a bit about it/them (though I don't remember the details), and I recall seeing a sig of him with some really cool white hair back on the old board, which I found very interesting.

Well I don't know the qstions to all the answer but I THINK, this is only a guess, that yusuke changes when he's walking through some portal to another world, (I believe during the Chapter Black Saga), and his heart stops. Then his demon blood takes over. Something like that, but I only heard it from someone so i don't really know. I don't even know why I replied. just bored :).

OKay here's the story. The first thing you need to know about is the "devil gene" it is a demon gene past down from human to human and awakens when one of them is resurected to give them special powers and it forms a "demon core" when they die again. Yusuke has this and that is why Koenma made him a Spirit Detective. He got this when his ansestor Raizen a demon god of the makai mated with a human female. Okay if you've watched the chaptar black saga so you know about sensui and the gateway to Makai. If you havn't ask about it here. Okay so Sensui sucedes in opening the gateway and slicing the Barriar by tricking Kuwabara to cut it with his Demention Sword. So Sensui and Yusuke are fighting and Sensui punches Yuske through the heart. He leaves him for dead and jumps into the makai. Hiei, Yoko and Kuwabara follow and fight sensui. Koenma is just about to bring Yuske back to life when Yuskes demon core takes over and he wakes up. Needless to say Koenma is suprised. Yuske jumps into makai and takes over the fight against sensui. Yusuke relizes he can't win and Raizen posses him and brings him into his demon form(which when he is possesd he has long, wild, blond hair and blue spots on his arms and legs) He beats sensui scensless and kills him with a super-charged spirit gun. Yusuke later regains control (everything about him looks the same but he has black hair insted of blond) and relizes what he has done and vows revenge on the demon who interupted his fight. When Yusuke returns to the Human world he returns to normal. That's all I know

Okay, anyway, Yuusuke has been killed by Sensui(More so he let himself be killed to give the other three a power boost since he couldn't beat Sensui). The others have followed Sensui through the Makai no Tobira. Koenma and Mitarai have stayed behind to look at Yuusuke's dead body. Koenma examines the body, and notices that it's still warm. If it was really dead it should've been getting cold. Anyway, Enma-Daioh sends down the Reikai Tokubetsu Bouetai to kill Yuusuke. Koenma asks how that's possible if Yuusuke is dead, and The Captain tells them he isn't dead. Enma-Daioh told him that Yuusuke is a member of Mazoku, the Demon Family, and he possesses the Mazokudaikakusei, or S-Gene(Not Devil Gene). It's a Gene made by strong Youkai that some make for fun, and others make to pass on their power to family. It skips generations, and Yuusuke was lucky enough to get it. Enma-Daioh wants Yuusuke dead because he feels Yuusuke might become a bigger threat than Sensui when he becomes a Toushin, or War God, like his ancestors of the Mazoku line. Yuusuke begins to be surrounded by youki(Demon Energy), instead of reiki(Spirit Energy), and the Tokubetsu Bouetai begin to fire at Yuusuke, when Puu, as a giant Phoenix, breaks into the room, and protects Yuusuke with his wings. Yuusuke is standing when the smoke and wings clear, and he tells them he heard everything, and now that he knows he's a Mazoku(he smiles with vampire teeth), he's going to make all of them pay. They get scared, then his teeth return to normal and he laughs at them. He tells Koenma to come on and they get onto Puu and fly into Makai to rejoin the fight. Youko, Hiei, and Kazuma are all beat down, but upon seeing Yuusuke they become healed up. Sensui makes this observation. Kazuma asks how Yuusuke is hear. He listened and he didn't have a heart beat. Yuusuke says he doesn't know, and Youko and Hiei begin laughing. They tell Yuusuke he must've had a dormant Youkai Nucleus(Equivalent to a Human Heart), and that's what's keeping him living, now that he's using youki. They laugh about it, then everyone get's serious. Yuusuke fights Sensui in one of the best anime fights ever, but it's a draw, and Sensui has the edge. Yuusuke begins to wonder whats the use of being a Mazoku if he can't use the new found power to beat Sensui's Sei Kou Ki. All of a sudden Yuusuke gets a pang in his head and horrible feelings, and then his hair grows and turns grey, as he sees someone in his head. The person asks him if he "wants to know the true power of Mazoku", and then Yuusuke is possessed by the original member of the Mazoku line, and strongest person to ever live, Raizen, his ancestor, who is also a Toushin. This is Toushin, or War God, Yuusuke. Newly possessed he kicks Sensui's ass in one combo of moves and fires a Chou Rei Gan(Fan name) and Sensui doesn't attempt to dodge it, as Yuusuke returns to his senses and his hair is still long, but black again. Sensui doesn't dodge and is hit and dragged all the way into the forest in Makai. Sensui didn't dodge because he was going to die in a couple of weeks anyway from an enternal disease. Doctor Kamiya diagnosed it.

Yuusuke's since of virtue doesn't change. He is still Yuusuke. That's that.

Yikes, Yami you probably should've thrown the word 'Spoiler' in front of your detailed summary of that piece of the chapter black saga (same for u Yoko). Sounds very interesting though, can't wait to see it. :)

Go to the Yu Yu Hakusho web page at www.yuyuhakusho.com and go to chapter black, go to the last chapter and go to sensui's end and at the bottom, youll see these 2 very small pics, click on it, you'll see his demon form.

I have a t-shirt with Yuusuke's demon form on it, when he has black hair. With the white hair he ends up looking like a [ much ] younger Raizen.
