Actually, I only own one Ectoplasmer. But it was enough for me to build this deck and test it. I got some surprising results. Here it is, R/F please and refer me to one of your decks if you want.

Total: 44 cards

I need another Ecto' for a total of 45 cards. Anyway, The deck really focuses on tributing Malice Doll of Demise. He comes back when he's sent to the grave by a continious Spell card.

Ectoplasmer destroys both side of the feild, except Malice Doll can come back every single turn. The only way to avoid Ecto' is to set the monsters face down. I've concedered adding Light of Intervention, but it won't protect my monsters either (If I dont have a Malice Doll)

Battery Ban can attack under Level Limit and Gravity Bind. plus he can come back with Battery charger. He can't be sacked (for damage at least) for Ectoplasmer though (0 original attack), so any replacement sounds good.

Also, what about Des Wombat? Will he work in protecting me from my own Ectoplasmer?

I also want to consider Monk FIghter, to flip opponents monster without risk of damage.

Thank you for the help!

i recommend ceasefire... adds in damage (500 for each effect monster) .. and flips everything, so if your opponent sets a monster, you can flip it face up, so it is affected by ectoplasmer. you might also want to use cyber jar. It can help if you didnt get malice doll or if you just want more monsters to sac.

Instead of Des Lacooda for draw power, use a Card of Safe Return

Ectoplasmer isn't that slow, you just need 3 Ectoplasmers and Fulliser the Dual Mode Beast.

all above comments are making a lot of sense (apart from Alpha's - ecto's can make a very fun - and annoying - deck.) You need to specialise more if you're going all out for ecto: eg, what is insect knight doing there!
