[Final Dude]

I just got into DB:GT so dont flame me plz.
Anyhow my question is:
My local card shop has tournys and it says on the list "focused" and "rainbow"
what do they mean? :confused:

Ive heard of rainbow, but im not sure what it means... Focused means GT only. (A tournament where only Dragonball gt cards are usable.)

The main tournament styles are Expanded and Focused. Focused, as said, usually allows GT only, but can also be DBZ only. Expanded is the most commonly used format that allows both DBZ and GT cards. Rainbow style may be referring to a format that allows a rainbow tokui-waza to be declared. This is a tokui-waza that you declare even if you have multiple styled cards in your deck. I may be wrong on that one, though...

Focused is a type of tournament where you only use cards from the dragon ball gt tcg. Rainbow is a style that is normally used for sealed tournaments. When you use a rainbow tokui-waza you can use a mastery but use other styled cards in your deck. For example you can use the orange aura mastery but also have black, blue, saiyan and red style cards in your deck.

Well, Rainbow is only ideal for Sealed Deck tournaments, because of the lack of cards to make your deck.
