if i do rain dance, will grass attacks (mainly giga drain) be weakened?

No, Rain Dance only weakens the power of fire attacks.

rain dance weakens the power of fire moves, morning sun and solarbeam, but not other grass moves

Rain Dance reduces the effectiveness of Synthesis (a Grass-type move), Morning Sun, and Moonlight. It reduces the power of Fire-type moves and Solarbeam.

Moonlight should be a Dark-type move and Morning Sun should be a Fire-type. That'd be cool. :cool:
