I prefer the Death Liger, but both are hard to deal with.

I like Zagaan more because where I play speed is more important than power. It doesn't matter what double breaker you get out, its going to get Spiral Gated/Death Smoked/Natural Snared/Terror Pitted/going bye bye.

Agreed. I prefer Zagaan over Death Liger. They both are double breakers...so like, I'd go with the one with the cheapest mana cost.

they are both sorta equal when you think about it.

I think Death Linger is better because it can deal with some realy pesky creatures like king dephtcon

Well Zagaan can also deal with king Depthcon, zagaan is better imo though, the one mana makes a big difference.

We must look at pros and cons here. Deathlinger - 7 star, 9000 double breaker. Thats tied for the second highest base atk right now with gran gure.zaggan is farther down there, behiond great horn, with gattling, ect. However, zagaan get out a turn earlier. IT isnt much impoirtaint by one turn though.battling hurts more. once your monsters leave so do you, so you need mons that stay there. Lige is also more for your money. 9000 for 7. Zagaan it 7000 for 6. Only 1 didget up, not two. And if you want good 6 speed cards, Go for bolshack, urth, ect. There are just more better replacements for zagan than liger. Liger is = on greeat n cuz when horn taps he is vulnerable to liger but not zagaan. Only things better atk wise is that hanasu radifying elemental and gran gure. S owhy not make a light and use both? wheeee. Overall, Zagaan - 710
Deathliger 8/10
Zagaan looks cooler though ;)

whatever works for your deck...
i'd say they're the same. anything above 6000 doesn't really matter, it'll kill anything short of a Gran Gure and both have double breaker. of course if you're running dark you should have 4 Terror Pits so gran gure isn't much of a problem anyway...

If you play mana acceleration [Nature] with Darkness then it really doesn't matter. I have been able to cast Liger and Zagaan same turn with 20 mana on the table due to acceleration. I run and Nature/Darkness/Water deck that has Aqua Sniper, Vampire Silphy, King Depthcopn and Liger at the moment and I barely need Liger or Depthcon to win games. All those double b's are vunerable to bounce, Pit and Smoke so just play the one you like the best.

zagaan - quicker to get out, good power and double breaker, and can deal with most creatures, however, most light decks will play a few gran gure's with 9000 blocking power.
death liger - one mana slower than zagaan, but has the power to bring gran gure to a stalemate
if youre running green/black you might think about great long horns. 8000 attack with +2000 power attacker to kill off those gran gure's and even hanusa with his nice 9500 power.
