Well, the card store I go to usually gets their stuff on time, but it all depends on the speed of the shipping company, which is UPS I think.

Nice, I wonder if my eBay distributor has 'em yet. He got DB2 a few days before it was due to release so he might have DR2. I don't think the set is worth it anyway. :rolleyes:

It is super rare, but dont buy this pack bacause it is one of the worst yet because the envoys are banned and you have a chance of getting a crap ultra like invader of darkness :eek:

I've never believed that report about it shipping on 3 October 2005 and then only to hobby and game stores. I just haven't determined who's zoomin' whom.

After Nov 5th I'll have EEN cards thanks to the Sneak Preview being held at my local store [Woohoo!] It takes at least two weeks for us to get reprint sets normally {but not new sets...huh?} so I'll already have my lovely Restricted Exchange of the Spirit (x3, naturally:D) when I get my first packet of DR2)

Talking to the owner of my card store here in Canadia, he said it is true that DR2 won't be sold directly from UDE to retail stores.
But that won't stop retail stores form buying DR2 from a distributor or 3rd party company like what my local card shop will do due to UDE's strange credit policies.

So you likley won't see DR2 at Walmart when it comes out, but expect to see it more around Christmas time. Until then, most card stores should be able to get it.

I too think it's odd that UDE decided to *try* to sell DR2 only to official tournament stores since there are very few actual tournament stores and soooo many ways around their logic.
There's nothing preventing a large wholesaller/3rd party company from buying DR2 packs from UDE, blister packing it themselves unless UDE's packaging company does it, and then reselling them to Walmarts, Targets, etc.

But I think the big reason behind this is that UDE may be trying to make more sales and simplify filling their orders by selling their cards to a few larger wholesalers rather then 100,000's of smaller individual stores.
Less accounts to keep track of and less smaller orders to package and ship out means less workers needed, leading to less overhead and "larger" profits for UDE.
In the end, I wouldn't be surprised to see the price of booster packs go up slightly by this (and by rising fuel/shipping prices) since the 3rd party companies will now have to deal with maintaining accounts and shipping all the smaller orders which requires workers.

I see this as delaying DR2 from being in retail stores by a few weeks at most. Again, it'll likely hit Targets, Walmarts and the like just in time for Christmas sales.

I rather get DB2 then this.. Ancient Santuary has a better chance to pull Enemy Controller....More different cards to get in this set.. lots of the are crappy(but so are Ancient Santuary..)
