I don't know if it's a Cheap Game, I've won without the rarest cards, but I dunno...
I started with Zatch and I like it. I don't think either one is better, it depends on how you strategize.

Packs and starters are cheap, $3.00 and $7.50 respectively, so I would say it's cheap. ;)

You can always try the tutorial on the game website too to see if you would like it. It's pretty good, I like it a lot.

It's less expensive than most other card games out there, and seems to be a bit higher quality. You don't *need* the more rare cards, but they help - the thing is, that because you can stack your deck, it's more about how well you read the mind of a potential opponent or prepare for any situation that's going to help you.

Thanks ekieki... that's what I was trying to say, but I wasn't as eloquent. There's just so much strategy involved in the game that even though I've been playing it for a while I don't think I've yet learned the most efficient way to stack my spellbook, and it does change drastically depending on who I'm playing with.

I started with zatch cause he's a lot more defensive and haves plenty of stratigy. the other guy is good to (real powerful) but i would rather defend and not lose that many pages than attack like crazy. ( thou i heard you still get rasheild wchich is a great counter attack card).
I think the website for the tutorial is www.zatchbelltcc.com or something like that.
