Hecatomb is a new TCG game from Wizards of the Coast for folks ages 15 & Up. WOTC had a huge presence for this game at GenCon.

We are considering a site on Pojo.com for this game, and are tossing up a forum for folks to discuss this game.

What is wrong with that? And why do people hate it? Its a great game!!!!!
I will definitely contribute to the Hecatomb site in any way I can. People shouldnt judge it by the first Starter Set. You get 40 completely random cards, and maybe those who knock it havent got a clue how to enjoy a CCG anymore!!!! Thank you for this forum Pojo.

Hecatomb is one of the games I was just drawn to without any knowledge of the game prior to my first seeing it yesterday. I hope it gets its own Pojo site and I will contribute to the site in anyway I can.

Me too. I saw the shop owner of my local comic shop playing out a game, asked what it was, heard it was by WotC and bought a Starter. WotC always release quality product.

Huge impact?! It barely got any attention at all! But that's what I've been wanting to here anyway it being added onto the chain of cardgames listed on this site.. Hecatomb is a kickass cardgame with a Call of the Cthullue like feel.. And sense it's not a third party company with low budgets and little fanfare, it may actually become a popular cardgame..

hecatomb is a great game, i love it. the main reasons people wont play it is people have weak stomachs, weak minds, or their moms think satan will steal them and take them to hell if they play it. =/ thanks for the forum and i hope the game gets its own page on the main site.

Yeah,It just came to Estonia,YGO and VS is dying out here so Hecatomb seems really promising

I love to see a part of pojo talking about this game. It gives people a chance to get to know it better and learn about the game.

Some beginners gets discourage sometimes when they buy the cards and can't learn to use their cards right.

I really doubt VS, or Magic will die out anytime soon, but this would give a chance for such a great game to grow.

I would like to see a Hecatomb main page on pojo, the game is awesome and if it catches on it could be a top selling TCG.

I really want to start getting heavily into the game, but I want to wait until the next expansion comes out in 18 days. There will be a little more of a variety for my upcoming Tier 1 Deck.

I know that Wizards isn't going to be at Origins, but does anybody know if any Hecatomb tournaments (or casual play) is going to be there?
