I wrote at 11:57 AM: I've watched very little YYH (one episode a while back, and that's it) so I'm glad that CN rolled back to the first episode... damn, this was some good s*it. Talk about emotional... heh... the series definitely got off to a damn good start. I like the way the principal guy told off those two pricks, because they deserved it. I mean, insulting a dead kid at the funeral... how low can you go? It was ridiculous. But yeah, I'm going to make a habit of watching it now that it's back on CN.

It was awesome how he stood up for Kuwabara, even though he started to attack that teacher. They'd never do that at my school. But yeah, that principal has his head on straight... that teacher had it coming. Ah well, as much of an ass as that teach is, I love to hate him.
And speaking of Kuwabara... he seemed to be kind of a thug at first, but he's helluva honorable. He definitely has my respect.

I love the scene in yesterday's ep where he came out of nowhere and kicked that guy away, and he was like "Hi" all badass-like, and then everyone was like, "Woah, it's Yusuke!" Scene reeked of badassness, all-around. And of course, the scene where Yusuke woke up... being dead for a few days made him look a lot nicer.
Bottom line, yesterday's episode owned.
Today's episode was great, too. Mmm... Botan looks pretty nice in her human form... hehe...
I was right. Botan looks even better in tomorrow's eppy, in the blue clothes and everything.
Anyway, perviness out of the way... shouldn't the mirror guy have spared Kurama from the start? He was going to give up his life to save his mother... that seems noble and selfless enough to me. *shrugs* It's the same thing as what Yusuke did, except Yusuke came out of nowhere and he was trying to help two people... ah well, him sparing them was a touching plot point, regardless.
Hiei vs. Yusuke looks badass.

Since I don't live over there I can only recommend a few things:
Ebay (might want to be wary of possible burned/unofficial copies of the dvds but sometimes there are excellent deals)
It's where I plan on getting the Spirit Detective saga, in fact.
I got my only yu yu dvd off Ebay and it was the real thing, sealed and all. (cheap too)
DumbEgg.com - they have the first (dunno if there's a 2nd) box set for only $66, rather than the retail of around $100, but I think it takes 2-3 weeks to ship out.
I think Animecornerstore.com has some pretty good prices too, but remember, you can find used dvds in very nice, if not mint, condition off Ebay for a shockingly low price.

And Genkai further proves herself to be cool as hell. I liked Kuwabara vs. Sword Wielding Guy better than Yusuke vs. Mask Faced Dude.

Today's episode was cool. I'm glad that Rando's out of the picture, because he was getting on my nerves. Six months foward... interesting... and Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama working together... cool and stuff.
That took a while... I SAID I'd keep the topic alive, though. I gotta go, but I'll elaborate later on this statement - these fights against the Spirit Beasts and whatnot so far totally kick ass. And Rando is an annoying <pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz>. Rar.
I missed episode 14. Stupid having stuff to do for once.
