can they transform?

okay i've been looking at all the articles and vids i can find about tenkaichi/sparking. i've been trying to figure out if transformations are seperate charactyers in this game as they wer in pre budokai games. most threads tend to point to transformations being seperate but when i watch the interviews and it shows them picking characters i see goku, vegeta, ect in their base forms only yet i also see unlokables such as bebi vegeta and super 17. so can someone please tell me. :(

Ill have alot of fun if that happens! but no that is not going to happen! budokai is going to use the same thing always! capsules.but actually im thinking right now they dont do that to most of the character, like frieza, when he dies in the game u could use the capsule frieza spaceship, she transform into metal frieza, the same goes for cooler, by the power of his capsule he could transform into metal cooler

There are NO in game transformations in Budokai Tenkaichi.You pick a character and what form you want them to be in at the character select screen and they stay in that form for the whole battle.This way better than in game transformations to me.

Your the half-wit,I was telling him he doesn't have a full blown Metal form like Cooler.And it's Cyborg Frieza not Cyber Frieza,he had a Cyborg form where half of his body was machine and that form IS in the game.And there are NO in game transformations and Super 17 and Bojack are in the game.Now who's the half-wit?You don't even know who's all in the game. ;)

I haven't even heard of this game. I'm still partying with my boudakai 3. why woudl they create a new game that downgrades from the awesome standard boudakai has set by removing in game transformations? Doesn't seem realistic to me.

the reason for all the changes is that they switched from dimps to spike who is famous for wrestling games. i soon as i heard that word (wrestling) I knew this game would not have in game transformations. spike made this game to make a name for themselves and to try and get people to buy their sub par games. in the process they forgot what made the other budokais great, the in game transformation and equal strength fopr every character. how much fun will this game be if the only good people are bebi, the ssj4s, and super 17?

And yet you can not provide any solid proof as to why they would downgrade the games when they are an obvious hit, nor is your statement supported when you accused them of trying to advertise their, quote, "Sub-par" games. There is little info about this game as of now and it doesn't do to asuming things just because a certain company is producing it.

as for whether or not their will be in game transformations, judging from the way other game sagas are produced, it will still have in game transformations. each new game in a series always has the best parts of previous games. PRime examples: Pokemon, Advanced Wars, Halo, Zelda, SSBM, and DBZ Boudakai up to this point. Take note, all very popular titles. And I'm pretty sure dimps wouldn't have handed the game over if they thought this other company was going to botch it up.

I wouldn't say 'the best idea ever' but it definately helps to variate the game from the Budokai series. If people want in game transformations then stick to Budokai 3. If you don't care then buy Budokai Tenkaichi. it's that simple.
