View Full Version : Nightmare Troubadour Release Date debacle
Alright, according to GameFAQS and Konami's Troubadour mini-site, the US DS game and promos are to be released on 8/30/05. Later this month.
However, the news article on Pojo.com AND the link to the article says that it'll be released in November.
August though, would be ideal because I'm getting a DS this week.
Is it just the european version coming out in November?

It better come out the 30th! I'm counting down the days. I rarely use my DS, sometimes to play GBA games, so I'm charging it to go on a NT binge.

Meh... The original release date was sometime last year. Big fat hairy deal..... They spent the time adding new cards to make the game better. that's all you really need to know.

According to BestBuy.com, the game is going to be out on September 2nd, which supports its release date on the 30 because it takes a few days to get to stores. I can't wait until the game comes out though, I just hope that they don't move it back again.

I'm glad they delayed it because it has at least a few cards from TLM (hopefully the whole set)

I asked the guys at the local game stop and they said the first of september.
Of course a week ago they said that Armored Core Ninebreaker was coming out the 24th this month and the other day they said it was coming out the 14th of september.

Why do they always have to push it back? I have patiently waited for this game for a LONG time. Now today, I was even more anxious today, when I thought I could stop by Wal Mart and just buy it.. Gaah.

Yeah its probably going to be in on either Wednesday or Thursday. Working at Wal-Mart I have realized that video games usually don't come in until Wednesday afternoon or Thursday afternoon. Very Rarely do they come out on the day they are supposed to. It didn't come in today so...I'm saying possiblily tomorrow.
Release dates all depends on the poularity of the game. being a former EB employ I know. If the game has a lot pre orders then the store will pay for an over night, so it comes in Tuesday morning. If not, and this is the case with the DS Yugioh, it will most likey come in tommaro morning/afternoon, most likely the afternoon cause of the stupid hurricain. Just rember be nice too ur gamestop and EB employs, I couldnt begin to tell you some stoires about people, and the way they over react, lol.

The game is out ,I just picked it up, haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it is out today 8/31/05

i just got it, i dont like the deck you start out with, typical weak monsters but you have to play others with better (ie joey) still a good game tho

In every Yugioh game you start of with weak cards so don't let that put you off,just wait intill later in the game when you open boosters with OCG only cards in like Metal reflect slime and Hannibal necromancer etc...TCG players will love all the OCG only cards that are in NT!

I bought the game solely for the Magicians, but I am happy to say this is one of the better, if not the best, Yugioh video game I've every played. I've seen some of the newer cards, Mokuba is actually a challege, and you have to build up from the ground up with no passcodes to cheat with. So far, the variety of cards seem to be pretty good, and there's even a problem section for fun that gets harder as you get further into the game (think Ryoga's section on the main Pojo Yugioh site).
So far, the newest cards I've seen, set-wise, is from FET, with the Big March of Animals... or whatever it's called. :P I'm expecting a great deal from the range of cards in this game.

The promos are amazing and I've been waiting for them forever. I haven't played the game yet, but it looks great. The ban list in the game is identical to the current one. The cards go up to FET.
What I wonder about is, if the game only has about 1000 cards, and there are over 3000 TCG cards alone, how extensive is the actual database?

My only issue is the starting deck, i easily beat tea and yugi but everyone else is only a win if a i get a good starting hand.

I saw Jonouchi use Dangerous Machine Type-6 and I was like :eek: This game is freakin sweet. I've dueled Bakura like 3 times and only beat him once lol. His cards look awesome in 3d.

damn bakura.. DAMN YOU ECTOPLASMER!!!! how does the friendship thingie effect gameplay? is there ever a way to tell who your gonna see on the map or is it always random? and what packs are the best to get early in the game?
I'm too sick to go out in public, so I sent out mummers to get it from WalMart.
