I don't get it, says you can use the upload control somewhere on this forum?

I can't seem to make my avatar pic from my computer? Any help would be appreciated! I just don't know what to do!

You need to upload your avatar image to some place on the internet before you can use it.

Because we ain't paying for storing all you member folk's avatars basically. The upload thing is a tiny perk that the moderators get for doing their jobs.

but on the avatar page it says...
"Either enter the URL to the image you wish to use, or use the upload control to upload an image directly from your own computer."
so there is on "upload control"?

The upload feature is turned off for the general public. Nobody but the staff can use it and there is no way to go around that. Sorry. You will have to upload your pictures to a place KrazyKid posted.
