Yugioh GX: Life After the School?

Do you think that the students will ever leave the school and pursue real dueling careers? If so what do you think will happen? Think they will stay in the school for as long as the series goes?

I personally think that they will leave eventually and then there will be tournaments.

Considering their stories are over and this is a different series with new characters we've been getting to know for 50 episodes, I should hope not. I'd love to see an arc or tournament that takes them off the island... we don't even know that much about where everyone is from, nevermind what they're like out of school. It'd be refreshing.

Manjoume has the best tool a detective could ask for - Speedo wearing ghosts only he can see to spy on people for him! It's just bizarre enough to work! :p

I'd love to see the cast in a more... well, I want to say normal environment, but this is GX we're talking about. Slightly less weird environment will have to do, as long as we get to see the cast in street clothes.

Manjoume would be a very good detective lol. I think there will be a tournament that mixes both series in a way. Joey will compete along with Yugi and Kaiba. Then the GX kids will partake. Probably a long ways down the road.

Anyway, yea, the environment seems much more light-hearted and weirder than DM. What the hell? DM spirits coming out of nowhere? Vampires? Tigers morphing into humans? Lipstick wearing european weirdos? Dueling monkeys? Kids that remind me of Digimon characters? Kids that turn people into sleepy Moke Moke loving weirdos? Half-naked young boys? Cards stuck in glaciers? Kids that look like Koalas? Am I missing something?

This place got nothing on Domino City.

Yes, because magic pieces of jewelry, mind-controlled mimes, murderous stage magicians, a group of old men who try to take over a company via a video game, a trading card game syndicate, a boy with naturally tri-color hair, Atlantean kings, solid gold duel discs, virused playing cards, megalomaniacal disembodied brains, Egyptian isolationists, and high school students who can afford routine cross-country adventures is much more normal. :p

But half of those things didn't happen in Domino City. Also, all those things happened in a larger time period, while GX has only been around for 40 episodes. Imagine the weider to come. And I was going for a more of a wacky '5th Dimension' weird. Pwnage is overrated.
