alright, I got a semi casual type 2 tournament coming up, and Im thinking of running a burn/stompy deck..... so Im looking for the best type 2 pump.... right now I got predators strike, giant growths, and the green echo....

obviously the giant growth being the most efficient of the 3 you mentioned...

the strikes are nice if you need the kill that turn and you are attacking with like an enormous baloth but in most other cicumstances I'd run with the giant growth.

see, right now for creatures in the actual deck I have treetop scouts, defiant elves, raging goblins, and taunting elves..... but I need more pump... I have enough burn, but I dont even know if there is anything I can use for pump (thats not equipment) beyond the 3 I listed.... it needs to be fast and efficient, and I was just wondering if there is anything else

you could use echoing courage as a pump and also as a counter to echoing decay.

You may not want to do this but why not just run straight elves? The speed of this deck is rather amazing I have actually beat some ravager and B/W control decks and its primarilly all commons and uncommons only 2 rares if you use the Forcemages. With clamp Hivemaster and a few 1 drop elves you can be swinging for 50 3rd - 5th turn.

4 Timberwatch Elf
4 Treetop Scouts
4 Wirewood Herald
4 Bloodline Shaman
4 Wirewood Hive Master
4 Birchlore Ranger
4 Elvish Pioneer
2 Tribal Forcemage (or Skull Clamps)

4 Wirewood Pride
4 Alpha Status

4 Wirewood Lodge
3 Tranquil Thicket
15 Forest

because almost every Raffinity deck sideboards pyroclasm and damping matrix. total screw for elves. becasue the matrix locks em down until they feel like doing a shrapnel blast to it and unleashing the ravager.

also black runs infest and deathclouds not much choice to sacrifice when it comes to artifacts.

I'd say if you are going to use the skullclamp the Raffinity build is almost the only one that will stand up in type II. or goblin bidding but yeah they were strong without this.

seriously though astral slide is making a huge comeback 4 stabalizer are almost a must for any sideboard.

see the thing is, Ive been way into the tournament scene for a while, and I made the deck very casual.... I actually have been working on an elfclamp (yeah i got enough skullclamps) but I dont have any of the right elves really... I have the basic stuff, but no forcemages, no shamans, and only 2 heralds, but yeah... Im done with the whole green red deck

I'd personally go with loxodon warhammer, it's just such a great card.

My favorite creature pump card is Might of Oaks. The rest are good, but if you want to win turn 4, Might is what you're looking for.
