***ATTENTION***
This section is a spoiler and may reveal secrets about the Heads and there pokemon...do not read any further if you want to find out on your own
---------------------------------
Ok...this is a thread for SA so we can have info on those areas of the Battle Frontier...please bare with me because all the info comes straight from the Prima Pokemon guide...well here goes:
-------------------------------
Battle Arena
This is the place where you have 3 turns to make your opponents pokemon faint, and if you don't, you get judged by none other than...judges...YAY, but they decide who wins in the outcome...so I guess OHKO is the best choice here
You are judged in these 3 areas...
Mind
Skill
Body
Who know's what moves count for what area...because it does'nt say...but each area is awarded a possible 2 points...the pokemon with the most points at the end wins that particular battle.
My suggestion is to take the strongest moves that affect all types of pokemon...I would refer to ShinyAltaria's list that Clown Master has elegantly posted on with moves that affect all types...choose those strongest moves and enter the Arena
27 wins in the Arena later and you face the Head...here are her pokemon
Arena Tycoon Greta
Heracross Bug/fighting
Umbreon Dark
Shedinja Bug/Ghost
For Umbreon I suggest bringing in a bug of your own...possibly another Shedinja...as for her bugs...a good Fire would'nt hurt....but I would go for a strong flier...possibly a dragon with wing attack...that way you can be strong and knock out the other opponent's in the Arena as well
-----------------------------
Battle Palace
Ok this place is a little weird and not exactly a fun place to be either
Here you have to rely on pokemon nature's and instincts to do the job...because you never get to choose your own attack, the pokemon chooses it for you
Also if you Double Battle there is another flaw...you won't be able to choose which pokemon attacks either...so it is not neccesarily going to be easier if you enter with 2 pokemon
But alas, you can manipulate this palace with a move tutor, move deleter. All you have to do is give your pokemon 2-3 good, strong moves and they will always do good bits of damage...just make pokemon especially for this place and you should do just fine.
Palace Maven Spenser
Crobat Poison/Flying
Slaking Normal
Lapras Water/Ice
After 21 battles...this is what you face...not a pretty team at all...this team postivley is awesome...and will take some doing to overcome, but I have some ideas.
As for Lapras and Crobat...Raichu, Laturn, Manectric, or any other strong pokemon with a electrivc type attack will destroy those 2...it is the Slaking I am worried about, and boy does he stall with it. Use Uber powerful moves such as Earthquake and anything with over 120 Attack, because his Slaking will outlast alot.
----------------------------
Battle Tower
This place is interesting...you can choose plenty of diffrent battle types in here that seem fun to me...I will list them for people who don't know.
Single: After picking three Pokemon, you engage Trainers in one-on-one matches.
Double: After picking four Pokemon, you engage Trainers in two-on-two matches.
Multi: After picking two Pokemon, you choose another Trainer (controlled by the game) to team up with. Then you challenge teams of two Trainers.
Link Multi: If you have a Wireless Adapter, you and a friend (also with a Wireless Adapter) can play Multi challenges together.
There is'nt much info for this place...but it is basically regular matches like you would outside....the only info I can give is for the Head of the Tower.
Salon Maiden Anabel
The only way to face this Head is to do regular one-on-one matches (i.e. single matches) to get to her. After 35 battles you come across the short-haired cross dresser (sorry she looks that way to me).
This place is nothing but a switch out contests because her pokemon cover each other...here are her pokemon
Alakazam Psychic
Entei Fire
Snorlax Normal
All I can say is bring pokemon strong in these types and be fready to switch out when neccesary.
Water
Bug
Fighting
Like I said with Slaking a bit back, you will need some doing to take out Snorlax...strong moves should do it and Alakazam can be a major pain...as we all know...but just keep switching out to get the type advantage
If there is any questions on what pokemon specifically you want to know about, or get move types for certain pokemon...I will do my best to post to help you...let me know if this helps any of you
