I ask what are your thoughts of this common from darksteel...

I had an idea for a limited deck using these,

so I drafted them this friday for my mono black deck and got 1st again which was fun but the guy felt a little bitter...

mainly because he and everyone else was almost certain he was going to win.

But my Bolas locked it down... and my lands with my ur golems eye was pumping out myr tokens with the matrix, it worked just the way I wanted it to. it also had removal, and things like moriuk scavengers to get my bolas back if they died and it had 2 myr retreivers in it to also bring back things from the graveyard. and a flayed nim as an attacker with 3 chittering rats and 2 pewter golems. it was a pretty fun deck with about 17 creatures including the free golems with fear and a few arcbound workers. and others.

So any thoughts or personal experiences of your own with the Bola.

I run bola most of the time in limited so i can keep there greatures under wraps. One time I had a guys arcbound ravager tapped all game so he could never attack. It was the only loss that guy had all day. Thanks mostly to the bola.

I run it in my Blue artifact deck, there's a combo i use in it that involves Voltaic Construct. I equip the Bola to Spire golem, tap golem, then untap the golem with construct's effect, he could be called the Horseshoe Crab of type 2. If you don't know Construct's effect here it is. {2}: Untap target Artifact Creature. Pure sweet and simple and it can go a long way. :D
