Trading?

I'm having all kinds of troubles with trading between games.

If I wanted to trade between an Emerald game and a Ruby game, what all do I have to do first?

in Emerald and Ruby....I don't think there is a problem with those 2 to trade...I doubt there is anything you have to do...

Emerald and FR/LG you need national Dex's in each to be able to trade over to them...

That is about all I know...I will try and look into it for you

You need to have got the NationalDex on Emerald to trade any pokemon outside the standard 200 in the pokedex. Meaning complete the game from what I remember.

How do you get the NationalDex?

I had tried trading right as soon as they opened the top floor of the Pokemon Center, but then it said "please wait/ press B to cancel" and just stayed on that screen for a long time.

I really hate all this stipulation stuff. I got a bunch of bred pokemon at lvl. 5 that I wanted to train, but then, no game would let me trade them...

It depends on what PKMN you want to train. If it's within the 200 Hoenn, then yes you can trade it to Emerald.

If this is Emerald > Ruby, then there should be no problem. Note that Ruby cannot use the wireless adaptor.
