That to me gives away a lot of the duel, I think... 2000 damage = His first LP damage is almost definitely taken by the Dark Scorpion Combination trap card, probably after swarming them out via Mustering of the Dark Scorpions. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing Manjyome's deck even if the cards of his opponent are all but a given.

well if it were an actual tournament like worlds or something then tomato would bea definite for sure, but this is the anime, they don't use the same ...well the only word i can think of is paranoia, about certain cards doing this and that, any one would be able to take down yugi if he were real. Either way, they're gonna be using Cliff! He's one of my Favorite cards!

[Asuka Tenjoin]

Well, now I have to type this over again... I lost the first summary I just finished typing, lol. This episode confused me... Was Zaloog an assassin? I think he was given what happened when he lost.

Zaloog begins the duel by summoning Sentry Golem in defense position. He sets a card and ends his turn.

Manjyome THUNDER! draws and plays Devil's Sanctuary, tributing the Devil Token in order to summon Armed Dragon LV5. He attacks and destroys Sentry Golem, setting two cards and ending his turn. Armed Dragon LV5 evolves into LV7.

Zaloog draws and plays Pot of Greed, summoning... well, himself. He walks onto the field in front of his set card as everyone sweatdrops. He then plays Mustering of the Dark Scorpions, and the other 4 jump onto the field with him as he special summons them from his hand. He activates his set Dark Scorpion Combination, allowing all 5 to attack directly (Manjyome THUNDER! LP: 2000). Then their effects kick in, and here's where I'm not entirely confident what happened... As near as I can tell, Gorg bounces Armed Dragon LV7 to the top of Manjyome's deck, Cliff makes him discard LV7 and Level Up from the top of his deck, Chick returns one of Manjyome's set M/T to his hand, and Don makes him discard from his hand (Edit: it was Masked Dragon, forgot it was that lol). Meanae then adds Dark Scorpion Combination back to his hand via her own effect. Manjyome counters with his remaining set card Level Tuning, reviving Armed Dragon LV7 and summoning it to the field. Zaloog sets two cards and ends his turn.

Manjyome THUNDER! draws and discards Despair from the Dark in order to let LV7 destroy the Scorpions, but Zaloog activates the Retreat trap, letting him return all 5 to his hand and save them. Armed Dragon LV7 attacks directly instead (Zaloog LP: 1200). Manjyome sets a card and ends his turn.

Zaloog draws and plays a second Mustering, but this time Manjyome counters with Ojama Trio, filling three of his monster slots with lazy Ojama tokens (Yellow sips tea while Black does push-ups and Green lies around). He has to settle for only Meanae, and then he plays the Contraception of Love spell (is that really the name? :eek: ), tributing Meanae to destroy Armed Dragon LV7. Zaloog himself attacks directly (MT LP: 600), and forces Manjyome to discard the one card left in his hand. Manjyome grins since it's Ojama Trick, and sending it to the Graveyard lets him add the three Ojamas to his hand from his deck. Zaloog ends his turn.

Manjyome THUNDER! draws and plays Pot of Greed, drawing two cards... and he uses his new Polymerization to fuse out Ojama King (it's as big as Moke Moke King!). He then plays Ojama Muscle, destroying the three Ojama tokens which causes Zaloog to lose 900 LP (Z LP: 300). It also boosts Ojama King by 3000 and it attacks with a gigantic body splash for the win, squashing Don Zaloog flat for the win (Z LP: 0).

The strange thing is, all 5 Dark Scorpions fade away leaving only the eyepatch artifact, which is what leaves me to wonder... were the Dark Scorpions all a single Assassin and did Manjyome beat one? If so, yay! :p

as far as Janime goes, her little summary for episode 44 says Shadow of the Seventh. i mean then Zalk would be 4th and Abidos 5th and Titan 6th and then Daito/Lux/New guy could be seventh.. i think it could work i mean DAito could be seventh then..

not sure on what the patch was meant for.. but should Judai have like 3 items already?
he has that card, the Chocker, and Taniyas Guantlet.. hmm becoming a Yugi, Judai is..

It was a decent episode. They showed all the Dark Scorpions, which was nice and the duel was pretty good. I like how Manjyome ends up with 5 more Duel Monsters in his room.

Did you see how they edited out Ring of Destruction in the show? They turned the grenades into pink balloons for goodness sakes!

One more thing, are the Dark Scorpions duel monster spirits? Like the Gravekeepers?

It's very interesting seeing the Dark Scorpions walk around in the show like regular people. Chick the Yellow an Osiris Red student? Gorg the Strong a painter? Miine the Thorn a doctor? Cliff the Trap Remover a security guard? And Don Zaruug a detective? WTF?? Very, very....creepy, even though they were disguises. It's even weirder than seeing the Gravekeepers as people.

And I KNEW he wouldn't start with Tomato, it seemed illogical, Golem Sentry threw them ALL, you saw how they looked when he played Don Zaloog. Not very often I'm right about things lol.

It looked to me like he only just then re-set it, ending his turn, so then Manjyoume-san went for, and got, the game. Would be pointless activating it on a turn he wasn't attacking.

We never got to see Brigadeer of Landstar attack though, so we don't know if his dubbed gun is a laser gun or not. Besides, I'm betting it's just a colorful shotgun, or a gun like the ones you see in One Piece.

Me thinks Donny will have two weapons in the dub. When he first attacks he'll have the swords, and the second time he'll have colorful guns.

That makes sense. After all, Janime's summary never said Abidos was the 4th Assassin. It just said he was the next assassin.

P.S. The Armed Dragons looked Phat in this episode. :cool: The whole dark scenery just made them look awesome, and Level Tuning. Must.....have.....

I haven't seen the episode itself, just clips. can anyone tell me what is on Level Tuning? The only one I have is a pic where the Hologram is glowing and I can't make out the art.

Who is Kunisaki? And why is everybody dismissing Sameshima as the 7th and final Seven Star?

Kunisaki is an investigative journalist who comes to the school during Judai's duel with Misawa. He tries to find the truth behind the haunted dorm where students have disappeared, but after watching Judai duel, he gets his old fighting spirit back and leaves to continue his dream of becoming the top Duelist in the world. He also promises to contact Asuka if he finds out anything about her brother Fubuki, who disappeared in the haunted dorm (and was later revealed as Darkness, the first of the Seven Stars). As for the principal... who knows?

well i think that Sameshima is a sad idea for the seventh star... why? cause he was given the keys.. think about it why on earth would he go through the trouble of giving them away, if he had them?
logic is a great thing...
anyway i think that this episode was good i liked it, it was funny.

This episode was so great and IMO was a great relief after these past crappy ones with amazoness and water crap. Well the water wasn't that but the guy who played it was well he looked really stupid. What was up with him anyway???? when ever he talked everyone made wierd faces. What was he saying?

Anyway what a great episode. Iam hopeing that Abidos will be good. Even though he uses so-so spirit of the pharaoh

I thought it was a great episode. Better than the past ones. Was happy to Manjyoume duel again, and win.
