Is this card legal?

I've just come across a promo card on ebay, which I bought. Its called Q-tronic Omnistrain - a shield trigger survivor evolution. All I know about the card is what it said in the description.
The card hasn't arrived yet, but someone in my local shop said that it won't be legal UNTIL the next set has been released because they said it was out because of a leak.
Is this true? Or can I play with it straight away? If I can't play with it yet, I'll keep it aside until I can.

Omnistrain is perfectly legal, but it will not improve a survivor deck because it will do nothing for your other survivors.

yes all promoes r legal plus the ive heard its surviver ability is when this card is in the battle zone all of your other creatures gain surviver also can it attack in the same turn straight after you bring it out from your sheilds :D

i don't thinkit has the correct barcode-like information on the side of he card so you are in deep **** if u try playing with that and someone checks out the information on the firinges (http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?TDKS)

Well I played with it in a tournament yesterday. Yeah it makes all non survivors into survivors but this does help my deck because most (not all) survivors are high cost so I've got other low cost non survivor cards in it so I can make them all unblockable double breaker slayers :). And then they will boost the power of Q tronic gargantua.

Before the tournament started, I approached the organisers and asked if they would allow it to be played. They said yes.

You know that Gargantura doesn't give it's effect off right?

Yeah I know it doesn't share its affect. Non of the survivor evolutions do, nor do any that Omnistrain turns into survivors. Q-tronic Gargantua would really be eveil *if* it gave crew breaker to every other survivor.

"Evil" is just another word for broken and broken cards is something DuelMasters Doesn't have which is one of the many reason why DM is better then YGO
