Translation:
In place of using this creature for an attack, you may Tap this creature and use the following ability on the next turn.
(Turn Symbol) Until the end of this turn, all Darkness monster in your battle zone receive +4000 points and double breaker status. During this turn any Darkness creatures that engaged in battle is sent to the graveyard.

IMO this will be a good card to help out cutter decks. I mean play that, than next turn diamond cutter...PWN3D!!!! Instead of light blockers play darkness ones. Baloons, brain jackers, squitoes, the blocker that cost 1. I know I'm going to trade for 3 or 4 when the set comes out.

Well the thing is, they will only perform as well as the current cutter decks. But I think a darkness cutter deck could go quite far. Blocker hate is in large numbers in most metagame. Imagine if you're about to go up and make the final play with Diamond Cutter, and your oppo lays down a Paladin. Or Screwdriver keeps tapping ands killing. Or a well timed Searing Wave.

I have been thinking about re-introducing Diamond Cutter to today's metagame. There is certainly a fair amount of blocker hate available, but most of it became unnecesarry when blockers started disapearring out of decks. The results of an up-to-date Cutter deck would be interesting to say the least.

I believe that diamond cutter/snake attack decks would be better than using this thing. Your blockers will not need +4000 power if they are going for shields. On the off chance you are not going for shields and you cast diamond cutter(you would need to be high to do that) you would be defenseless on your next turn and that is the only time you would need an extra 4000 power. Who knows, it may help. I doubt that though...

I thought la gila was crap but I never thought of how well he would do in hydro cutter.
