Abduction

There is a new X-Files movie out; X-Files Abduction. It's in stores now. I love the X-Files show, especualy(sp?) the ones with Mulder (The guy that replaced him in the second to last season sucked) I'm going to rent it and see if the writers havent lost their knack for freaking me out. Does anyone know if this is a "self contained" storyline, or is it based on the show (other than the characters)?

From what I've heard, it's supposed to resolve the storyline of Mulder's abducted sister. So it's not exactly a self contained storyline.

Um no. They're doing 'theme' sets that contain episodes that have to do with certain conspiracies in the show. This one obviously deals with the 'Abductions' that happened throughout the series.
