Does Horo ever fight Ren? If so, can someone tell me who wins? I'm sort of interested.

Does anyone else here seem to think that Ren is too much like Vegeta, and Yoh is too much like Goku? I mean, Yoh's laid-back and cheerful, yet always outclasses Ren, then Ren decides to team up with Yoh, and treats him like a rival until the very end, when he finally admits that Yoh is stronger than him. Replace Yoh with Goku, and Ren with Vegeta, and the same exact sentence is true. There's something terribly wrong there.

Ithink that Yoh is alot like Naruto and Ren is alot like Sasuke! I was looking at the Japanese volume of Shaman King I think it was volume 29 or 30, and just his expressions reminded me of him!

Oh and my fav teams r first Team Ren, and second Team Star! (Hao's team) They're both so cool!!

Team Ren, Horohoro (chuckles.. boroboro, lol!!!) is cool! And his hairstyle without the headband is cool. Episode 48 was just plain cool because it was a Horohoro episode.

My two favorite teams are Team Star and the X-Laws team,because I really like S.O.F. and Mash.Team Yoh is pretty cool too,but I hate everyone on team Len.

I like the Icemen myself... I also have new found respect for Marco so I'd say Team X-1.

And Chocolove got his cool Jaguarman Oversoul... so Team Ren is also in my favorites.

The Iceman team is cool I guess since there not in it very long there looked over but there pretty cool!
Out of the less important teams I like that Gladiator team! Odd huh!? :p

The Icemen have a bigger and BETTER role in the manga.

One team I certainly HATE from the anime is those three DUMB and STUPID diver guys! That was one of the stupidest idea they ever pulled! Those guys were a DISGRACE to the Shaman Fight! In the manga those guys would have either be eliminated on the way to the Patch village (how the heck did those loser find it?), not survive the 10 Billion Years worth of memory pouring into them once in prescence with the Great Spirit or just be plucked out by a team from one of the three big group.

They definately got there on a fluke! I mean they didnt hardly have as much trouble as Yoh and co. because they were being chased by the X-Laws and Hao! Which not to mention was good practice! :p

Remember those guys that were sent to kick Lyserg's butt and had a cage to capture Morphin in the anime? In the manga those guys were killed by Hao because they were too weak.

I think the Diver cooks (they've been in the depths too long -- it got to their brains) would fit that category too.

They really abuse the huge oversoul thing in the anime.

yea he does look pretty cool with his sheep ghost, and i looked at a few shows from japan an it had closed captioning. they called hao "hao-sama" and according to one of my friends "sama" means woman. does anyone know what sama means because i don't think thats what it is.

actually funbari means to protect and onsen means someone close to you like friends or family so the team name (if translated correctly) would be something like "team protectors" or something like that, even though they say its advertisement for anna's dream hospital.

Oh I haven't posted in so long 'sob' sorry if I missed the whole point of this thread but I would have to say my favorite team is Marco's team X-1. Mind you I like the X-Laws but they aren't my favorites but as a team I think I like them over all. Then I would have to say team Funbari Onsen since Faust IS my favorite character and I do like Ryo a lot too.

oh yea, that reminds me. out of all these people that they show i noticed that not 1 of them has fought to send back the meteors/stars to save the world. they always fought for some other reason. if nobody saves the frigging world then whatever else they save will just be destroyed like if horo horo did win and he gave the minutians a giant swamp to live in then it would just be destroyed. so then why doesnt anyone try and actually fight to send back the stars? :confused:
