should i let him evolve to his last evolution, or should he stay in his 2nd evolution? i'm asking this because of is truant ability

Most people say let him evolve, and looking at Vigoroth vs. Slaking's base stats, I have to agree. Vigoroth's base attack is 80, and Slaking's is 160 :-/ I say it's worth it.

Oh, heck yes! Slaking is a very powerful PKMN. If it can learn Skill Swap, use it and the opposing PKMN gets the loafing thing and Slaking gets the ability they had. It was hard to beat in Colloseum for me. I barley 1.

Evolve it. Even without Choice Band, Slaking has one of the highest attacks in the game.

Got choice band?

Just for info - I had the same thought some time back. Unfortunately, Slaking can't learn Truant. It's probably just as well; it'd be very broken if it could.

Slaking is a god...

I like partnering him up with a Gengar so Gengar can Skill Swap first turn
woah, suddenly Slaking can float
and then Gengar Skill Swaps Truant on the opponent third turn
if any Fighting-types bother Slaking, Gengar can just use Psychic

Definitely evolve it. With a max of 460 Attack, Slaking has the highest in the game short of Deoxys. Choice Band makes it even more powerful. BROKN!

Evolve, evolve, evolve. With Hyper Beam and its huge fricking attack, who cares if it misses out a turn?

I've got to agree with them on this one. Let it evolve. Hyper Beam is a great move for him; it's damn near a OHKO when paired with his massive attack power. Some other great moves for Slaking include Earthquake, Return, and Aerial Ace.

Definately let him evolve, just watch out for protectors...
BTW, how much is returns max damage? i could never choose between that and facade.

well breakers revenge, i guess you know what you want to do now eh? anywayes, skill swap with slaking would be really good, does slaking learn skill swap, and if he doesnt' the tm for skill swap is 48. Incase you didnt know, but I dont remember were I got it. But if slaking learns it then nevermind what i said.

i dont think he can learn it, but you can swap it in a double battle, and then swap it over to your opponent, making slaking a massive army of one!

Evolve him, period. Me and him just about sweeped the Battle Tower for the silver Ability Symbol. For me it's Hyper Beam>Return, Choice Band'ed. I pretty happy right now, all thanks to him!

my slaking grew out of the lounging thing when he evolved into vigorath. :cool:

no slakoth's ability truant goes when he evolves to vigorath but then when vigorath evolves into slaking he gets it back. Cant you TM skill swap to Slaking. It's TM 48, i cant remember were to get it though, cuz its in my tm case i just dont remember were i got it.

i havent got that tm at all yet,but i usually leave the 'skill swapping'to rosey,my gardevoir.its ability is trace.

get a gardevoire with syncronize, its much better, no need to use up a TM.

Return's max power is 102, not 110. If Return's max power was 110, it would make most normal physical sweepers gods(140 w/STAB is only 10 less than Hyper Beam, but w/out the extra turn). Imagine Slaking's uses when he can switch during his traunt turn after using Hyper Beam. lol..
