I'm finally thinking of checking out the new Battle Frontier and would like to see what you thought was good or what was a waste of time.
There seems to be so much more to this new part of the game than the old R/S battle tower, and I just finished doing other things that I wanted to do in the game first (like catch the legendaries).
So if you have any opinions on Battle Frontier stuff, please post.
Got Frontier pass?

I haven't gotten that far yet (i'm a very slow player) but from what i have seen of it looks really interesting. I want to completely get everthing done in the main land and get my better EV trained team before I start on BF.

It's pretty fun, but hard. All I have is the Luck Symbol, and was close to getting the Symbol for the Battle Dome. I love it! I hate it! I... *breaks down into tears*

I've done some battling in most of the areas in BF, and I'm a bit disappointed. Most of it has been at Lv. 50 (I just traded my BT Pokemon from Sapphire), and I'm seeing things like Lv. 50 Spinda, Goldeen, Pidgey, etc. I do recall seeing a Cacturn, but that was the only fully evolved Pokemon (other than Basics that don't evolve).
I did do some battling on the open level, but it was pretty similar.
I find the Battle Pyramid to be most annoying. Most every Pokemon you see there either Toxics or Paralyzes your Poke if you don't OHKO it. No problem, right? Just load up with Full Heals. Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention - IT TAKES YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU START. You have to rely on what you find there (which is enough, if you're careful). Worst part is, after wandering through 7 levels of mazes, wild Pokemon (which you can't catch - no Pokeballs, remember?) and trainers, you get a whole whoopie of 5 Battle Points.
I'll keep battling there, but I'm afraid I may lose interest in it pretty soon.

The more consecutive wins you get, the tougher the enemies get, i.e. they evolve, better move sets, EV spreds are better, etc.

Thanks to those who have posted a reply.
Dan: Your post was elucidating. Thanks.
If I can get my %&*()* link cables to work again, I'll trade over an EV-trained team from one of my perm carts for the Battle Frontier and then check it out.
