Gym Rematchs

When am I able to do the rematches against the gym leaders in Emerald? I think it's after the Elite 4, but I'm not sure

They can challenge you again before the Elite 4, but it seems pretty rare either way. I've beaten the Elite 4, and done quite a few sidequests, but I've only fought Roxanne, Flannery, and Norman. Don't forget to check your Match Call often, because they won't call you.

I've only had one re-match so far---with Winona at Fortree. And it was after beating the E4. Don't know about before E4----just check match call.

Oh, and just in case you don't know yet, all gym leader re-matches are 2v2.

I've beaten E4, caught Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza, done some battling in the BF, beaten Stephen in Meteor Falls, and so far I've only been able to have re-matches with Winona and Brawley. I thought we'd be able to battle more often, possibly even whenever we wanted to. :(

really thats it? Roxanne, Brawly, Flannery, Wattson, Norman, and Jaun have wanted rematches maybe its what u do or something ;)

I believe it's just a random part of the game. Whenever you go to a new day, it is possible that a Gym Leader would want to rematch you. Notice that the rematches only appear the first time you turn your game on in the day (and of course will remain until you fight them).

ya that sounds right but what about Wally? he just wants 2 battle all the time

Wally usually wants a challenge after a day or after you beat the Elite 4 again
if he doesn't challenge you, fight the E4 again or wait another day
