Apparently BP moves are not breedable. So if you take a Male Aggron and use BP to teach it Rockslide, then breed with a Female Aggron, you will NOT get an Aron with Rockslide. I verified this experimentally today/yesterday.
Breeding chain I used:
Camerupt(M)
Amnesia
Ember
Rockslide
Magnitude
I bred it with a Rhyhorn(F) that I caught in safari zone. I got 5 rhyhorn eggs.
I bred:
Rhyhorn(M)
Hornattack
tailwhip
magnitude
Rockslide
with a female Aron. I got:
Aron
Tackle
(some weak stat move)
Sucks huh?

Huh? I thought that was just for moves the Pokemon learns naturally. Or is it for ANY move?

the only time that both dont need to know it if it is a move that it only learns by breeding...

Aron doesn't get Rock Slide as an egg move. You have to use a Move Tutor to teach him Rock Slide.

Does this mean the move can't be passed on by breeding at all?

Yeah, pretty much. Sorry. Unless you teach Aron Rock Slide with a MT and breed him with a compatible Pokémon who can get RS as an egg move.

So would it work if I had a male and female Aron that new Rockslide?

Rock Slide isn't an egg move for Aron, nor does he get it naturally. So no, I'd assume not.

The best Rule-Of-Thumb I've seen regarding passing on moves by breeding is:
IF the Father knows the move, and;
IF the Offspring can learn the move Naturally, via Egg Move, TM or HM;
THEN the Offspring will hatch with the Move. Otherwise, the Offspring can't hatch with the move.
Just look at the Move List and you'll see if the Offspring can learn it or not.

Well once I manage to get enough BP I'll do the experiment...
